😢: My daughter and her daughter and our son stayed one night and were worried it wasn't nice. They saw insects and found roach traps. Next day we were all out until late evening and then we dropped them off. 20 minutes later my phone was buzzing. Our daughter was virtually in hysterics and our little granddaughter too. Daughter explained that after getting there they had discovered cockroaches in several places - and they were not the small young ones. Some were clogged in the kitchen sink. They were trying to kill them but there were a lot, and one or two were alive on the ceiling. Plus she was still convinced she was being bitten (and she was itching and had some spots come up maybe the roach treatment). Had to go rescue them and then spent nearly 500 euros on their hotel rooms over three nights. Plus hours in launderette the next day plus the inconvenience and disruption it all caused. Owners offered small discount and kept telling us they had left daughter more roach treatment to put down. I often use booking.com but I am seriously upset about this experience with one of their accommodations and the lack of cleanliness and responsible action on the part of the flat owners. Also it is difficult to complain if you want to do it in writing and not on a review. I was going the owners would just do the right thing. I hope they didn't let anyone else stay there this last week (or next). They need to fumigate that flat and deep clean it afterwards..
