We stayed for four weeks… the property is comfortable… the location provides an ideal base for day visits to see many popular attractions and the spacious grounds deliver vistas across the open countryside… wonderful getaway we enjoyed our stay. Good for birdwatching. Host is very friendly and helpful.

Overall the property is adequate in a beautiful setting. I read all the reviews before booking and as many had already pointed out, you really do need to bring bedding and towels. As we'd flown and travelled light with only hand luggage this meant a trip to a supermarket for sheets towels and pillows we were also expecting a washing machine but this doesn't exist either. However as we were only here for a week we made the most of this beautiful place and appreciated the surrounding area too Christine was helpful to an extent and like our french her English was minimal. A few tweaks and a small spend would improve the gite immensely. Providing sheets towels and pillows is basic thing certainly most people expect and the provision of larger coffee mugs would be welcome by most. If you are driving in your own car bring your home comforts with you and I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay!

Excellent accueil. Logement agréable, propre, calme et bien situé. Tout correspond bien au descriptif d'Abritel et au contrat proposé par les gérants. Nous y retournerons volontiers.

Cette location est idéale pour ceux qui recherchent de la tranquillité tout en étant à quelques kilomètres de Bergerac. En allant plus loin, il n'y a pas de quoi s'ennuyer. La piscine au fond du jardin est un plus pas négligeable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very sad to leave such a peaceful place. The garden area was wonderful and we enjoyed the view over the countryside and the peace and quiet. On the final day a woodpecker landed on the grass a few feet away from the kitchen door! The only (small) criticism we had was that the kitchen was a bit short on cups and mugs. But everything else was great. Boulangerie not far away, and all the cafes and restaurants of Bergerac only a 15 minute drive. We were able to visit some of the highlights along the Dordigne as well as spend time relaxing at the gite. We would not hesitate to recommend such a lovely place to anyone.

Séjour très agréable, au calme, logement bien équipé. La propriétaire est toujours disponible en cas de besoin et très serviable. Je recommande pour ceux qui veulent passer des vacances au calme mais tout en restant proche de lieux à visiter.

The property is in the most wonderful setting that is worth the 5 stars. The view is stunning and the peaceful surroundings are a delight. The property is equipped with everything you need to enjoy a lovely holiday Remember to take bedding and towels and we bought pillows from the local supermarket as the gite provides one long bolster pillow which we found a little difficult to share! Christine is a lovely hostess and we felt if there had been any issues we could contact her. If you like high spec technology it's not for you but if you love peace and quiet and a simple relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings, you will enjoy it as we did, We have given this 5 stars because of the lovely setting Thank you

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce gite pour son cadre situé au calme entouré par la nature. Le bâtiment est bien orienté par rapport au soleil que vous pourrez voir ce coucher depuis la terrasse. Les propriétaires vous accueilleront chaleureusement et vous laisseront libres de profiter pleinement de ce lieu enchanteur. Le gite est fonctionnel est bénéficie de tous les équipements électroménagers. il est composé de 2 chambres séparées par une grande pièce de vie ouverte sur salon-salle à manger-cuisine avec accès direct sur la terrasse et d'une salle de bain avec lavabo et douche à l'italienne. Si vous aimez les grands espaces et la nature ce gite est fait pour vous. Vous pouvez également bénéficier de la piscine située en contre-bas. De là vous contemplerez les balais des rapaces volant quotidiennement au dessus de vos têtes !!!! Dépaysement assuré ! Bergerac est à 7km de là. Un grand merci aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse et leur sympathie. ED.
