17th century apartment Ideal for couples and pet friendly

We had a very enjoyable stay near Melrand. The accommodation was clean and well equipped. Martin was there to welcome us and gave some useful tips on places to visit. We particularly liked the music & dance ( & cider!) at the local pardon. There are some good walks nearby.

The property is in a very beautiful part of Brittany,but unfortunately inside everything is very tired everything needs replacing. The shower is very small; if you are a small person its fine.The entrance is dangerous if you have walking difficulties . There was no maps or emergency information, apart from everything we enjoyed a three week peaceful holiday in an area we know very well. . , nof riful

Petite maison charmante à proximité du centre ville de Melrand où il y a toutes les commodités. Nous avons passé un très bon sejour. Merci à nos aimables hôtes.

Cette petite maison est calme, agréable et très bien tenue. C'est la 2ème fois que nous séjournons là et nous apprécions aussi l'accueil des propriétaires. Beaucoup de belles randonnées à faire dans la nature depuis cette maison.

Wir waren mit unserer Hündin für 3 Tage dort und waren sehr positiv Überrascht von dem Haus und seiner Ausstattung. Es ist klein aber fein, es ist alles da was man in einer Küche so braucht. Die Lage ist sehr gut direkt am Wald, für Wanderer oder Läufer/Jogger eine Geniale Gegend. Wir kommen sicher mal wieder.

The gite has everything you need for a nice break away from busy life. Basic but picturesque. The small river, which is a stone’s throw distance from the gite is great to cool down when it’s too hot. The location is ideal for hiking as there are many routes which start near the gite. Martyn and Jenny are the most friendly, helpful and hospitable hosts we have yet encountered while respecting their guest’s privacy. We had a lovely stay.

Dear Martyn, we spend wonderful days in your flat, which is really renovated with love to keep the acient charcater of an old house without missing anything of our modern world. The surrounding has everything to enjoy calm days in the beautiful nature and in the nearby village Melrand we found the necessary shops and a very good restaurant, where we had dinner. Thank you.
