A beautiful villa, close to the town but a quiet location, facing west over hills with besutiful views. The house was very beautiful, with lots of different outside aeas to sit and enjoy the views. A very lovely stay.

Ein wunderschönes Haus mit einer schönen Atmosphäre. Der Empfang war super herzlich und ein köstlicher hausgemachter herzhafter Kuchen und eine Flasche Rosé warteten auf uns! Man merkte, dass die Besitzerin alles getan hatte, um unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die Villa ist fantastisch: viel Platz, viel Platz zum Rückzug, ansprechend eingerichtete Zimmer, ein wunderschöner Garten mit mehreren Terrassen, eine davon beheizt! Schwimmbad (toll im zeitigen Frühjahr) und eine tolle Aussicht über die Hügel. Auch praktische Dinge wie Küchenmöbel sind selbst für eine große Gruppe sehr vollständig. Das Zentrum des gemütlichen Grasse ist zu Fuß in etwa 15 Minuten zu erreichen, und doch ist es, als ob man außerhalb der Stadt wäre: wunderbar ruhig und frei. Wir fanden das Haus in Wirklichkeit noch schöner als auf den Fotos.

Das Haus, der Garten, der Pool und die Aussicht sind großartig, auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Die Firma und das Auto sollten nicht zu groß sein, da die Straße zum Haus sehr steil und sehr eng ist und die Decken der Räume (insbesondere der Badezimmer) sehr niedrig sind (weniger als 1,80 m), so dass sich einige unserer Firmen bücken musste duschen.

We loved this beautiful, spacious, clean and well-furnished house with wonderful views of the countryside around Grasse. The arrangement of the rooms and the numerous terraces provided great flexibility and met the needs of our group of cousins, mostly in senior years, who assembled from different parts of the world. The owner, Dominique, was brilliant - charming, helpful, very responsive and obviously concerned that we should enjoy her lovely historic house and its interesting gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the changing views depending upon the time of day and the walk into Grasse was exhilarating - there are two routes, one of which involves an uphill (but manageable) walk and another which is on the flat. One or two points that potential renters should take into consideration: first, the mozzies - Dominique has done her best to erect screens but they still seem to get through - and secondly, the steep, bendy and narrow drive down to the house from the road. This is shared with other houses and having a small car certainly makes it more manageable.
