😊: The apartment was nicely laid out, with an outdoor seating area. 😢: There were bedbugs in 2 of the beds, when we mentioned it to the agency they were quite unresponsive. We brought my son to a pharmacy to get treated and they confirmed there were bedbugs, he was very uncomfortable for much of the holiday. We also didn't sleep very well. When cleaners came on our last day they didn't believe us that there were bedbugs. I lifted the mattress, showed them, asked how could they expect someone new to come in and sleep there.

😊: Looking back on our 10-day stay, we really enjoyed it. It was one of our better Easter vacation stays booked through booking.com of the last years. - With only 2 rooms, the appartment is quite small, but it was still practical for our family of four (2 adults, 12 and 9 year old children). - There is one main, living room, which sleeps up to 4 people: there are two separate beds and there is a couch that can fold out to a 2-person bed. There is also a dining table and a small kitchen. Near the door to the garden there is television on a low cupboard with drawers that holds the plates and cutlery. - In the small, open kitchen area, there is a ceramic stove for two pans, a microwave oven that we ended up using a lot, there is also a small electric oven that we also used a lot, e.g. for pizza and oven dishes. The kids liked eating bread from the toaster. - There is also a dedicated parent bedroom with a 2-person bed, also a large closet with shelves and hanging space for the clothes and there is a small writing desk. - In the back, there is a garden/balcony that looks out over trees and a nearby hotel. There is also a dining table and chairs there. - Both rooms could really be made dark, while also allowing fresh air. The living room has manually rollable blinds that can be left open a bit to let air through. The bed room has a sliding panel that makes it dark, but also allows circulating fresh air. - There is also a nice bathroom with a bath, a faucet with drawers and a toilet. It looks like it was recently updated. - The hosting facilities provided by the service agency were professional and timely. It was easy to communicate with them through the booking app (with translate function) and they always responded quickly. However in conversation, they did not speak English very well and preferred switching to French. - We visited the beaches many times. - We could do groceries and shopping nearby, but also in the Perpignan area.. 😢: There was not much we did not like, but to highlight a few nuanced things: - The wifi was good and worked throughout the entire area, not just the apartment. It needs to be set up on each device using a registration form. However we noted that it could get quite slow (e.g. streaming video) on days when there were a lot of visitors, like in the first weekend. So in the high season it could be worse. - I could not use my company's VPN over the wifi. I am not 100% sure why. So I ended up using my own 4G phone hotspot for communication with work. - The wifi could also not be set up on all devices, because of the registration web page procedure. E.g. our Xiaomi Mi Android TV device could not connect through it. But e.g. my son's Nintendo Switch was OK. - The wifi did not work well in the garden, somehow. But we still had connection on the parking, on the other side of the compound. - No bed linnen or towels are included! Be sure to bring your own! - During our last booking.com bookings in France, e.g. near Disneyland Paris, sheets were provided with the apartment. We have booked other apartments without bed linnen, but it was always clearly advertized that you needed to bring your own linnen or could rent it. - We brought our own towels, but did not think of bringing bed linnen this time. We ended up buying a set of emergency paper bed linnen from the hosting service. - There is no electric kettle provided, e.g. for making tea. But we brought our own, so no big deal. You can also just boil in a pan on the stove, but that is slower. - The images on booking.com could have been better, e.g. showing a plan of the apartment. - The pans were sufficient, but there were no PFOA-free anti-stick pans. - The shared swimming pool area looks very nice, but it is probably only open during the summer months. During Easter it was closed, which is not uncommon, even in Spain. However, this was also not clearly advertized on booking.com.
