Very good location, just across the river from the centre of Confolens. Check in process unsatisfactory, guests were left standing on the doorstep for ages waiting for someone to let them in. Steep winding stairs up to the second floor bedrooms not advertised and were unsuitable for the elderly, especially with luggage. Actual property quaint, good location, but could have been cleaner, there were lots of visible cobwebs!

Sehr nett und liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus in der Nähe des Flusses Vienne....! Gastgeber John ist sehr unkompliziert gewesen mit allem. Leider war es manchmal nachts laut, wenn Gäste durch die Straßen liefen. Confolens ein idyllischer Ort, aber leider ausgestorben und wenig offene Restaurants.

We spent one week at this property, it was fantastic! This house is an absolute gem in a scenic rural location, a little beautiful town. We were welcomed with a glass of wine (or a cold beer) and a full tour of the property. We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness, quality and comfort of this house. It's a really lovely house, fully equiped, well decorated and super cosy! The house has so much character and has retained lots of its original features. Thank you for top quality accomodation! We left this property feeling very relaxed. We would definitely recommend this house and would return again without hesitation. Thanks again!
