We had a fantastic week at Louis and Colombe’s property. They were such helpful hosts with plenty of tips on where to visit locally. We very much enjoyed drinking the wine grown in the vineyards around the house after visiting Leonor, who should be used as the actual definition of charming! The house is set up brilliantly for young families, we had one of the best weeks away we’ve ever had. Highly recommended!

A beautiful, well-equipped and picturesque property in a charming rural location, close to local vineyards and within easy reach of Bordeaux. We spent a lovely week in this rural idyll, chilling in the pool and lingering over long suppers. It was difficult to tear ourselves away from this luxury, to see some of the beautiful region of the Gironde, but we were glad that we did, to sample the local wines (particularly Pomerol) and to visit Bordeaux, whose centre has a Parisian air. Contact with Louis the host was congenial and timely.
