😊: The house itself is beautiful, very spacious, and in a lovely, peaceful location. The garden is a great size, and the nearby farm animals add to the charm. It has everything needed to be a fantastic holiday home.. 😢: The biggest issue by far was the fly infestation. We understand it's a rural property and expected the odd fly, but this was on a completely different level. The house was constantly full of flies, and every time a door was opened, even more would come in. We spent more time trying to swat flies than relaxing, and eating or sitting inside became unpleasant. The infestation was so bad that we decided to leave two days early, despite being booked until Friday. There were also a few other issues. The downstairs bath was visibly dirty, so we avoided using it. The kitchen cupboards were so full of crockery and cutlery that there was barely any space to store our own food. On arrival, neither toilet was working because the internal stopcock had been turned off. We managed to get one working ourselves, but although the owner came out to look at the upstairs toilet, it only worked for a couple of flushes before failing again. It's a real shame because the property itself is lovely, but the fly infestation completely overshadowed everything else..

😊: Very little. 😢: House in general not very clean. Bed linen smelled unclean.looked unclean and very wrinkled. Bath dirty. Be warned no handbasin in upstairs toilet where there were five of the bedrooms. When we complained, host very irate and rude claiming we only complained to get money back which is untrue.we did not complain to get money refunded. We left this property a early and moved to alternative accommodation at our own expense. We have used Booking.com numerous times before and never had cause to complain..
