A 3 km de l'Isle sur la Sorgue, Villa au bord de rivière et sa piscine chauffée

Myself, my family and our friends stayed for just over a week, whilst we enjoyed a family wedding. The location is absolutely perfect, so many beautiful towns a short car journey away. The home is ideal, clean, tidy and very friendly hosts who couldn’t do anymore to help, e.g helping us book taxis to the wedding. The pool was beautiful and it was also helpful to have a pool alarm incase a child fell in, giving us peace of mind (although it is also gated) The river at the end of the garden was so tranquil and the children loved feeding the friendly ducks daily. We also saw rabbits each day in the garden. The house has plenty of amenities including a fully stocked with utensils kitchen, utility area and BBQ. Some helpful tips if your staying, bring your own toilet roll, hand soap, towels and bedding. Bedding can be rented at an extra cost, but didn’t include towels. WiFi was excellent strength, working in the depths of the garden. We forgot to mention to hosts that they may have a termite or other insect issue in the downstairs bedrooms as we heard the chewing every night and saw evidence of wood piles in our rooms. Also it would benefit from a black out blind/shutter in the children’s bedroom. However none of that detracts from how much we enjoyed our stay. An excellent home that we would come back to again and again!!

Lovely house, tastefully fitted out in a great location. Garden is scenic and fruitful at the time of our visit, Figs being plentiful. River at the end of the garden was good fun to Canoe. Swimming pool high quality. Hosts were a pleasure to deal with.

This lovely home in Le Thor is situated in the countryside on a quiet road with minimal traffic. The yard was beautiful, and I harvested figs and walnuts from trees on the property. It was exactly the peaceful retreat I needed, and was .5-1 hour from several historic sites. I recommend this site for anyone who wishes a relaxing getaway.

The grounds and swimming pool are perfect for a family holiday, and the opportunity to canoe on the river was an added bonus. Loved the vine covered patio! Furnishings inside the house were a bit more basic than we have experienced in other properties, but were adequate.

Spacious house with ample parking. Large garden with heated pool and orchard. Canoe and life-jackets available. We were 4 adults in two double rooms and the villa was plenty big enough; it could benefit from a second WC, though there are 2 ample bathrooms. Hosts were helpful but not intrusive; they were renovating the neighbouring house but there was very little noise. Good base for Avignon, Camargue, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Gordes (well worth a visit to this hilltop village). The area was bustling in early June though the roads were never congested ; it is probably heaving during the peak months.
