A 5 mn de Bayeux et 10 mn des Plages du Débarquement. Maison calme /campagne.

We have been here for the 2. time and it was as good as the first time. I can rwcommend this house.

Enjoyed our stay house stunning BUT .... Linen very old charged a lot to make own beds not every bed given linen towels very old and small . Check in with Barbra not easy as spoke little English Was approached by the cleaner demanding we left at 10am despite check out was 11 on the day we left . Found her a little rude ! The flys were very bad and the house had old fly traps hung up with lots and lots of dead flys on them should be replaced . Over all the stay was pleasant . Neighbours dog and cat constantly at the door scratching or loud crying from the cat early am like 5am all the above not a criticism but how to improve .

Klappte alles hervorragend, Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter einwandfrei. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht. Die Aufteilung des grossen, eingemauerten Gartens mit den Nachbarn, war auch für unsere Hunde toll. Es gibt zudem viele Spiele (Tischtennis, Basketball, Nintendo Wii Sports) die auch für unsere Jungs toll waren. Wunderschöne Gegend, ebenfalls sind alle Landungsstrände innerhalb von 20-50 Minuten erreichbar. Die Woche ging viel zu schnell vorbei. Wir würden sofort wieder hier Ferien machen.

Séjour parfait Très belle maison avec un grand jardin très agréable. Très bonne literie. Maidon très confortable avec tout ce dont nous aurions pu avoir besoin. Très propre. Un grand merci à Barbara pour son accueil et sa réactivité pour le mini soucis que nous avons rencontré. Elle a géré cela très rapidement et de façon parfaite. Voisine très agréable. Génial pour les enfants avec de nombreux jeux, une table de Ping Ping et un panier de basket. Nous y retournerons, c est sur Nous le recommandons

Wir waren das erste mal in der Normandie und fanden im Haus in Vaux einen wunderbaren Ort zum Entspannen und Entdecken dieser schönen Region. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und gemütlich zugleich. Es ist hervorragend ausgestattet. Die Beschreibung ist detailgetreu. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Lediglich sollten Gäste noch besser darauf hingewiesen werden, dass Bettwäsche mitzubringen ist , bzw. dass sie kostenpflichtig angeboten wird. Das war im Onlineinserat und auch auf vorherige Abfrage nicht entsprechend kommuniziert. In allem waren wir aber sehr zufrieden und würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen.

We travel a lot and we often find that what we see on the b&b /hotels/ holiday houses websites isn’t quite what we find when we reach the place. This gorgeous old farm, completely renovated, immersed in the green of its beautiful garden and surrounded by the typical “campagne Normande” just completely fullfilled our expectations. Very spacious, well equipped and tastely furnished, with its cosy fireplace, a bright and comfortable lounge and a modern fully equipped cuisine, we can definetely say we have found our private little slice of paradise. The only noise you can hear is the wind playing through the leafs: we haven’t slept this well in ages....! Personally, I will get back there once a year just to have a good week of regenerating sleep (and yeah....to have my dose of excellent oysters and champagne too!!!)

We had a great time here with our family: 2 parents, 1 daughter [11] and 2 sons [9 and 7]). The house is in a very quiet village at 15 minutes driving distance from Bayeux. We visited Caen, Bayeux, Falaise, the D-Day landing beaches... (It is a very nice touch of the owners to have a DVD of "The Longest Day" at the house.) The house is actually in the right side of the building (the part with the brown door). The left side belongs to other people, but they don't bother you at all. There are 2 proper bedrooms (each with a double bed) and 3 more beds in the attic. The house is spacious, so you do not feel "locked in" when it is raining. Outside, there is a nice terrace with a BBQ.

We loved our stay here! The house was perfect for our party of five. My biggest concern about staying at the house was the fact that there was only one bathroom and that they allowed smoking. I was pleased to find that it actually has another half bathroom and there was no smell of smoke in the house. (The beds were comfortable too.) The location was great, very peaceful. Also, there are some really neat historical sites within walking distance from the house. This was definitely a five star for us!
