A charming house in Airial

The property is lovely and the outside space is amazing. Everything that you need for a peaceful family holiday. Our children loved playing in the pool, in the play house and going on bike rides and we loved the peace of mind of an enclosed garden and fenced pool. The house is very well equipped with everything you need and whilst you are situated in the middle of the woods, you needn’t feel isolated as other houses are in sightand the village and supermarket is only 5 minutes away. The owners were lovely and welcoming and we were in constant communication before, during and after our stay which was very useful.

La maison est totalement conforme à la description : chaleureuse, décorée avec beaucoup de soin et de goût. Elle est aussi fonctionnelle et très bien entretenue. Nous avons adoré le salon, les poutres et la hauteur sous plafond. L'extérieur est magnifique avec la terrasse confortable, donnant sur le grand jardin et la piscine. Tout ceci dans un environnement très tranquille, mais tout proche des commodités. L'accueil est chaleureux et Henri est resté prévenant tout au long du séjour. A recommander sans hésiter.

Avec nos enfants et petits enfants nous avons passé des jours inoubliables à l'Airial de la famille Russé. Nous avons adoré ce lieu caché au milieu des bois, un vrai paradis immergé dans la nature. La magnifique maison est aménagée avec beaucoup de goût, et le jardin fleuri et la belle piscine privée sont parfaitement entretenus. Tout était impeccable à notre arrivée. Les descriptions et les photos ne peuvent pas rendre la vraie beauté et la grande valeur de ce lieu enchanteur. Merci, Henri, de nous avoir donné la possibilité de séjourner chez vous.

My wife, young children and I stayed at this villa for 10 days in July. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, and / or a base for visiting the west coast beaches and towns I would recommend this Villa whole heartedly. The villa’s appearance and general up keep are as good as the photos suggest, and is set in large, well-kept grounds surrounded by extensive woodland. The Villa was clean and very well presented, and provided everything we needed for an extremely comfortable family holiday. There is a fully stocked Supermarket near Castets centre which is five minutes’ drive in the car. The owners Henri & Aude made us feel most welcome. Prior to travelling they provided detailed information on the facilities and clear directions on how to get there. Upon arrival they made sure we were happy with everything and provided useful information on where to go, and what to do. We spent lots of time playing in the pool, which was fantastic for cooling down from the hot sunny days. We also travelled to the nearby town of Dax (20 minute drive), which has some lovely shops and restaurants. The beaches of the west coast are sandy, clean and again only a 20 minute drive away. Moliets plage is a popular beach with lots of facilities (eating / shops / surfing / golf / bike tracks / camping), and Saint Girons Plage is a quiet, less touristy beach to visit. Both have surfing facilities, and are fully patrolled by lifeguards. In summary, we had a fantastic holiday and have many, many lovely memories of the time we spent here. I would not hesitate to recommend this Villa and would rate it as exceptional in terms of facilities, appearance and location.
