A l'Ombre du Laurier - Two-Bedroom House

😊: A really nice to place to stay - warm, comfortable, and while the downstairs area (kitchen/dining) was small the rooms upstairs were spacious and tastefully furnished to give a rustic/homely feel. Parking is right outside the door and off street so convenient and safe. We really enjoyed our stay!. 😢: The spiral staircase to the upper level is very compact / tight - using it is no problem, but moving large/heavy bags upstairs would be a challenge (there is some space under stairs to store bulky items, so not all bags have to go upstairs)..

😊: Lovely little duplex within a French farm. Very clean, warm and well equipped. We had planned ahead with food to cook for our evening meal and our host sold us a bottle of very nice wine for a very reasonable price because we’d forgotten to pick one up. We particularly liked the chickens outside the door in the morning, hopeful of some vegetable scraps. Commonwealth war grave attached to the back of the village cemetery nearby. We had a very comfortable, quiet night here. Safe parking for car or motorbike.. 😢: Nothing comes to mind.

😊: Cozy place with boardgames and interesting decor and objects! We stayed one night but it seemed like a quiet village in the countryside and we had a restful night. There is also a friendly cat!.

😊: Very nice friendly hosts, the apartment is clean and freshly renovated. French village atmosphere, hens running around in the courtyard. The design of the apartments is modern, you want to chill out and enjoy the local atmosphere ☺️.
