A la venise provençale

😊: A lovely looking bright appartment in a caracteristic house with ambiance à la Provence, with wide street view. Location could not be better. Modernised inside and nicely decorated. Good bed. Tiny shower cabin but nice shower experience. A pleasant place to be.. 😢: Upon arrival I couldn't figure out the wifi connection and the owner didn't pick up the phone. She came home early evening (living upstairs) and arranged the connection. Then the induction cooking plate didn't work, an unusual one as well. Julie put the electricity off for reset, but the capacity was low and it took quite some time to prepare a simple meal. An exercise in patience! I think proper instructions should be left about functionality and it was not nice not answering the phone while knowing when I would arrive and having written I could call! Also maybe check the cooking plate before arrival guest ? The ceiling is not isolated so I heard every move and noisy tubes from upstairs. On weekdays Julie gets up at 7 am and I would have liked to sleep a bit longer, and when I wanted to sleep a bit earlier at night for early departure had to wait till the action upstairs finished. So short nights. The 8 is for the visual part only..
