A large Manor House with heated pool in the heart of Bordeaux wine country

We had a wonderful week at Isabelle's beautiful villa/house in the middle of Bordeaux / Bergerac countryside and vineyards The property is beautiful and extremely well equipped with so much space inside and out to relax and for kids to play, including BBQ area, terraces, play areas and trampoline - not to mention the amazing swimming pool where we spent most of our time! Both host and housekeeper nearby were really helpful and gave us lots of information on places to visit nearby including St Etienne which we highly recommend. We would definitely love to come back! Perfect for a large group of family/friends. Thanks so much.

The place was amazing, we went with 2 other families 6 adults 6 kids under 5. Loads of games, toys, trampoline and climbing frame to keep the kids entertained. Lovely spaces for adults and the pool was brilliant. Looking to book again next year. Thank you for a great week.

We came to stay for a wedding nearby and we’re a group of 6 adults and our 18 month old twins. It was absolutely perfect for us! There’s so much for littles ones, loads of toys inside and a trampoline, swing set, huge garden and of course the pool outside! All very safe as well. Isabelle was excellent at answering all our questions and arranged for travel cots and high chairs for our little ones. She also helped us find local amenities etc, and provided a fantastic info pack with lots to do in the local area. We visited a lovely local lake with a beach, St Emilion and a local vineyard/restaurant all around 15 mins drive away. The bakery she recommended 5 minutes down the road was also delightful! Can’t recommend this enough if you’re looking for a beautiful chateau in the countryside.

We visited as 3 families of 4 with 6 children age 7 and under between us. The pictures don’t do the house or grounds justice. It was absolutely wonderful with everything we could have needed for adults and children. Plenty of space, inside and out and the pool that kept everyone happy for hours every day. We would highly recommend to others.

Très bel séjour à la Palaisienne. La maison est bien équipée, jolie, propre et surtout très adaptée aux enfants, donc que du bonheur pour les parents. La propriétaire est très gentille et disponible pour toute nos questions. Nous n’avons qu’à remercier pour ces belles vacances.
