After reading the guest book at Belle Rivière, getting ready to write my own entry, I thought to myself, “Wow, it’s all been said, and it’s all so true!” Belle Rivière is a great rental property - a perfect blend of a traditional French home and modern amenities in both kitchen and bath, two outdoor spaces, really comfortable beds, beautiful view of the Dordogne River and the town of Ste. Foy la Grande. Belle Rivière is in a great location - walking distance to a fabulous boulangerie, a supermarket, restaurants (great ones) and an impressive Saturday market…plus driving distance to many charming villages, vineyards, chateaux, and antiquities…plus outdoor activities including a riverside walking path (upstream and downstream) right at the doorstep. The owners, Sylvia and Raymond are outstanding hosts - they welcome you, answer any and all questions, offer advice and suggestions, and respond ever so quickly to any inquiry. They are gracious and thoughtful people who take excellent care of their house and their guests. Our two week stay at Belle Rivière was parfait! We have vacationed in France for years, and we always stay in a rental property, and this one is truly outstanding.

Beautifully appointed house with every facility you would need and more, highest quality products , welcome pack inc coffee . tea Milk , sugar and a very nice bottle of wine. Perfect situation in very quiet spot with views over the river. Two excellent restaurants literally a few hundred yards away. possibly the best bathroom I have every seen on a vacation and I am 80 and well travelled. We would highly recommend this stay you will not be dissapionted

A delightful week by the...<br>#128578; The house is in an idyllic location on the banks of the Dordogne, with beautiful views over the river and very close to excellent restaurants and all amenities, parking front and rear. There is a pretty little courtyard at the rear and a small garden at the front, ideal for drinking one's aperitif in the evening. The house is spotless with all creature comforts and very well equipped in terms of everything needed for a short (or long) stay.<br>#128577; Absolutely nothing.
