A Provencal village house near of shops and restaurants with Air Con Bedrooms

What a wonderful village house in Boulbon! We had a great stay in Le Maison du Puits’. The house is very comfortable, clean and feels like home. It is very quiet - even between the 2 floors with the bedrooms. Great water pressure for an old village and plenty of hot water. It has everything you would need for your stay in Provence. The village is charming, the people are polite and welcoming. We were only able to eat at one restaurant, L’Oranger, and it was excellent. The Boulangerie for our morning coffee and pastry was wonderful. Paola, the housekeeper is so sweet and helpful. She even has a store in the village where she sells items made by herself and others in the village. If you don’t want to venture outside the village there is plenty to see/do with ruins, an amazing cemetery, trekking, beautiful church and even an old windmill. Don’t miss the opportunity to stay here - you won’t be disappointed.

Spacious, comfortable apartment in a historic building. Charming village with easy access to larger towns in Provence and the Camargue (we loved the bird preserve). Great little grocery store, nice bakery and well-appointed kitchen. Warm welcome from Paola. We would stay here again in a heartbeat- thank you!

Our stay at La Maison du Puits (house of the well) was simply amazing. My wife & I were traveling with our 2 young adult children. The house was immaculately clean, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. And it’s situated in the quaintest, cutest town. There’s everything you need in this little town— a Boulanger, a viande market, a grocery store, a few good restaurants (Cafe du Commerce was great) and one exceptional restaurant (La Table de la Bastide de Boulbon). Paola, who manages the house and has a sewing/gift shop in town was so very helpful, steering us right whenever we had a question. Plus, Boulbon is a very central location. It’s about 25-45 minutes to Avignon, Arles, Nimes, the Luberon, Les Baux, Pont du Gard, Chateauneuf-de-Pape. We stayed here for 5 nights and would have been happy if we had booked our entire 2 week trip here. There is so much to do in the area. One of our favorite rentals ever.

We felt lucky to stay in such a lovely location in the small, not touristy, Boulbon. The beautifully restored property made us feel like we were living in a part of the castle just above us. Les and Margaret kept in touch from afar with information and check ins, and Paola, the manager that lives in the village, couldn't have been nicer. We felt as though we had made a friend, stopping by her little shop often to chat and see what new creation she was making. In addition, Paola was a valuable resource when we had questions, sought recommendations, or had a particular problem to solve. The small kitchen was stocked with anything we needed when we chose to cook at "home", the notebook of information was impressively organized and detailed, the bedrooms were comfortable, and the trip to the patisserie was literally steps away. It was very special that we got to witness two traditional community events during our month long stay. Boulbon's location was ideal to explore so many other surrounding Provincial villages and towns and each of us on this trip are already hoping to return one day.

Not only was this 3 level house lovely and roomy (for 2 couples), we so enjoyed experiencing life in a small town in this part of France. Great location, lovely accomodation, and Paola was very kind and helpful during our stay. 5 stars!

Ein großes, toll eingerichtetes Haus mit Bäcker, Metzger und Post in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Das Ganze wird eingefasst von einem alten Torbogen und Überresten einer Art Burg. Boulbon ist ein wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt für Touren nach Avignon, Arles, Nimes, den Luberon, Aigues-Mortes oder auch die Cevennen.

The house was wonderful and suited our large family well. We enjoyed eating our meals on the terrace. They did a great job of making sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking to the patisserie, butchery, and Utile every morning. Our boys enjoyed biking and hiking in and around the town. The location was ideal and it was easy to get to many different sites.

Das Haus ist zentral, dennoch sehr ruhig im Ort gelegen. Die Zufahrt mit einem größeren PKW ist etwas schwierig (enge Straße), Be- und Entladen sind aber problemlos möglich - man muss halt nur ein paar Schritte gehen. Bäckerei, Supermarkt und Restaurants sind fußläufig in 2 Minuten erreichbar. Paola, die Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort, ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Danke für die tolle Betreuung! Auch der Kontakt mit dem Besitzer war schnell und unkompliziert. Das Haus ist liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Nur die Moskitos haben genervt. Aber wir haben eine tolle Zeit in einem schönen, kleinen Ort verbracht! Es war ein sehr gelungener Urlaub.
