Adorable gîte - Le figuier

😊: The Gite was very serene and with beautiful gardens and bushy surrounds. It was well stocked with everything we needed for our overnight stay. The Gite was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our host was kind and met us to show us the way from the main road.. 😢: Nothing - everything was amazing.

😊: The entire house is cosy and confortable and rhe hist are very friendly.

😊: Great location with easy parking and very quiet Very welcoming host who could not do enough to make sure we were ok the surrounding area is beautiful.

😊: I stayed 2 nights in the gîte which is located up on the mountain, accessible via a small road. The gîte itself is in an old stonehouse which is very cozy. In fact, it is not an entire house but an apartment on the top floor of the owners house, with a separate entrance (this can be a bit confusing as the pictures suggest an entire house). The gîte consists of a modern kitchen with plety of appliances, a bathroom with walk-in shower and 2 bedrooms. There is not a living room or a seating area apart from the kitchen stools. Outside the house is a little seating area with splendid views on the mountains as well as a private parking space. The owner is super sweet: even though i arrived late, she directed me patiently to the house and even had some food in the cupboard. And the complimentary tea and coffee were also really great to start the day with.. 😢: All great!! Only downside: it was not as quiet as it normally is as a car ralley was taking place in the valley and the engines roared quite loudly all day long. So it is worth checking the sports calendar beforehand. Otherwise it is a quiet spot in a scenic environment and proximity to many great hiking spots..
