Agréable maison de ville avec tout à proximité

😊: For us, this property worked out really well. We are cycling on our e-bikes and having the ability to easily and safely store them in the garage was an absolute bonus. Although we didn't need it all, it was nice to also have a large house, with garden. The shower was suprisingly powerful and water nice and hot, perfect after a long day cycling.. 😢: Although it didn't effect us, be aware that the upstairs toilet is broken, so if needing a wee in the night you need to go downstairs. It was also a little dated and musty, which for some might be a tad off putting, but for us, it was all good and extremely practical..

😊: It’s a complete house with a nice garden. Spacious with two good bedrooms, and a third that’s more like an attic room. 😢: It really needs maintenance. The shower was in a bath but had to be hand-used. The kitchen, and especially the tools, is in bad shape..

😊: We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a cycling holiday. The location is excellent - 10-15 walk to centre of town, 2-3 to a large supermarket and a short bike ride to join the cycle path along the Marne and its canal. The owners have made an attempt to modernise the decor downstairs but it remains a little dated. But comfortable and clean. The garage was good for storing our bikes and we were able to park our car on the street outside (not enough room in the garage!) Large garden and would be a great place for pet owners (even bowls in the hallway!). 😢: The toilet in the upstairs bathroom was not functioning and there was a faint smell of drains if the windows were shut. The downstairs toilet was fine but a nuisance to get to in the night. Refurbishing this bathroom would be a priority for me. The kitchen has a lot of equipment (and the fridge worked fine) but an eclectic and ill-thought out inventory of crockery etc. I think a group of 6 would struggle to find all that they needed. There seemed to be 4 coffee making machines but no kettle. A pan on the stove worked of course. The garden could be such an asset but the patio area was unswept and both lots of garden furniture were dirty. We had a quiet weekend but before 9am on the Monday the military jets from the nearby airbase started manoeuvres - very very loud. This continued with frequent noise until just before 5pm. Then started again as we were leaving at 9am on the Tuesday. Google suggests that night time exercises sometimes take place - in which case I doubt I would have slept..
