Air-conditioned apartment 100m2 garage terrace near Avignon center

Philippe met us just after we arrived, which was actually really lovely. He was able to walk us through the apartment and help get us settled. The apartment is lovely--we immediately felt at home. There were plenty of extra blankets and towels and you get the feeling that this is a home rather than a business. Our son enjoyed the space to spread out his toys and immediately found the corner of items provided to play with. The bed was comfortable and there was breathing room in the bathroom with hot water. (Something we were struggling to find on our trip.)Reasonable walking to city center. The neighborhood is "quiet" but that doesn't mean it isn't busy! Lots of traffic down the small street, but you can't hear it once inside. As others have mentioned, the garage is a tight fit. We opted to park on neighboring streets. This was by far our favorite place we stayed in France and the only spot we would come back to.

This property exceeded all our expectations. The cleanliness was amazing and the property was spacious and laid out well. All communications with the host were quick and the host was very accommodating. The expresso provided was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend this property!

Location is walkable to the city.Parking was a little bit tricky. There is a garage but a bigger car like a SUV ( ex. Volvo VC 60) won’t.

We had a perfect stay in Avignon! Philippe and Gisela have a lovely apartment. They were very accommodating and also very responsive to any questions we had. While this apartment is outside of the city centre, it was still close enough to be able to walk to everything including the train station. I hope to go back some day!

Lovely apartment a short walk from the walled city of Avignon. Beautifully furnished and plenty of space. A home away from home! Two clarifications (not criticisms) This is a two flight walk up. If you have heavy luggage keep that in mind. Very small garage which can accommodate a small car otherwise it is street parking.

We really loved this apartment. The decor is wonderful, the space is large (good for a family), inviting and comfortable, the kitchen, bathroom, and amenities are modern, the beds comfortable, and the location perfect. We walked to the historic walled city of Avignon in less than 5 minutes and were at the Palais des Papes (which is extraordinary!) in 15. While there is street parking, we were grateful for the convenient one-car garage which made things that much easier. The apartment's location is central to many popular places in Provence: Pont du Gard, Arles, Gordes (and the Tuesday market!) St. Remy, Roussillon, and more. Being mid-trip, we happily used the washer & dryer which worked great. Phillippe was a very responsive host; and he provides lots of useful reference information/maps which helped us thoroughly enjoy the area even more. A wonderful apartment. Highly recommend!

Well equipped and very comfortable apartment close to the old city of Avignon. Just as described in the ad. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quality apartment in Avignon.

Overall great rental a few minutes walk away from the Old City so great quality price ratio. Very quiet neighborhood with grocery store 5 minute walk. We traveled with 2 young children so the bath and high chair were a major plus. Big rooms, great outdoor space Philippe great host very easy to reach and accommodating.
