AllinLyon | Suite de charme - cœur du Vieux Lyon

😊: The flat was well situated in the old town of Lyon, close to everything we wanted to see. It was well equipped in terms of kitchen appliances, washing machine, and complimentary toiletries, the bed was comfortable and it stayed impressively cool despite the heatwave - the fan was brilliant. 😢: I want to flag clearly some things I wish had been apparent before booking: 1. Very dark, bordering on oppressive. There are no external windows — they all open onto an internal courtyard/staircase, so there’s very little natural light. The listing photos didn’t reflect this at all; the contrast looked heavily boosted and bright lamps were placed near the windows to make it appear sunlit. 2. Lack of privacy. Because the bedroom and kitchen windows (and the main door from the bedroom) all open onto the communal staircase, the blinds had to stay down at all times — making the flat feel even darker and more closed in. 3. Insufficient lighting. The lights one side of the bed didn’t work properly, and the remaining spotlights/lamps were harsh and glaring rather than usable ambient light. 4. Staircase noise. No street noise, but noise from the communal stairwell was loud at times. 5. Cleanliness fell short. We ended up buying our own cleaning products to clean the shower before we felt comfortable using - it was visibly dirty and smelled musty beforehand. The wooden floors were dusty enough that our feet were dirty just from walking around. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend staying here, especially if you value natural light and privacy - the listing photos are significantly more flattering than the reality..

😊: The property was cosy and in a great location. Great traditional architecture, very clean and had great amenities.. 😢: Nothing.

the apartment was generous, very big and above all: very calm to have a good night sleep - in a very cosy bed by the way, Everyhing was clean an proper.May be some more coffee capsules next time. 😊: This place is fabulous. It was so cool to stay here. It is private and secure. It has everything you need. We are so grateful we got to do some laundry here. We stayed here during the heat wave of 40 degrees and we were very cool. The fan was perfect. Don’t let the heat scare you off, it is a shaded and cooled room so you will be fine. We love this property. It’s in the best location in all of Lyon. Everything is walking distance.. 😢: Nil.

Situation idéale et logement aussi confortable que pittoresque. Aucune réserve à apporter. Adresse à retenir pour un très bon rapport qualité/prix.
