Durant ce séjour du 1 au 31.1.2023 que du bonheur dans cet appartement de 2 pièces tout confort (TV/Wifi/machine à laver le linge)) Les propriétaires sont très sympas. Le lieu est tellement calme qu'il m'est presque arrivé de dormir un tour d'horloge à plusieurs reprises et ce, sans un dopage quelconque pour trouver le sommeil. Vraiment un village à recommander. Mon épouse peut confirmer.

Perfectly organised, helped us in many ways even through unfortunate hospital circumstances. Very well equipped. Beautiful balcony to enjoy on an evening looking out onto Vosges Mountains. Would recommend to friends. Everything worked out extremely well. A holiday to remember and hopefully we will return in the near future.

We really enjoyed our stay. Calm and relaxing. Jean Marc and Sylvie were very friendly, available to answer questions and not at all intrusive. Perfect hosts. The appartment has all you need and is very clean, well looked after and in a pleasant neighbourhood. There is a pharmacy, bakery, bank, hairdressers, post-office and greengrocers in the village and all within a short walk. We arrived later on the Saturday so be mindful that very few places open on a Sunday to do any shopping for food. There is a covered market in Colmar and a corner shop heading into Colmar to pick up any essentials as well as the motorway services. The appartment is within easy reach of many tourist attractions in the area, so a good base for travel by car. Train station in Rouffach (about 5 miles from the appartment) with parking in case you don't feel like driving to Colmar, Strasbourg or Mulhouse. The use of WhatsApp with Jean Marc was a great idea and helped communication tremendously. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others or to book again. This gite effectively consists of the front half of the first floor of a house. Entering next to the garage, a flight of steps leads to a well-equipped kitchen diner on a mezzanine floor above the garage. A few steps higher are the lounge, bedroom and bathroom and the lounge and bedroom have access to a west facing balcony, big enough to sit on and with views of the Vosges mountains between the rooftops over the road. Our welcoming hosts supplied a bottle of wine as well as various tourist literature. There is internet access and a TV showing French and German language terrestrial channels. There is no DVD player but we took one with us. The village is pretty with many attractive houses and an official floral village designation, but big enough to have a newsagent/tobacconist, a busy bakery and a bank with a multilingual cash machine, all by the church, plus a chemist in a different direction. The village is also for the most part very quiet although when there is sound, it carries, inside and out and we had to get used to somebody delivering newspapers on a noisy moped at 6am. The nearest supermarket, an Aldi, is by the nearest motorway junction only about 5 minutes' drive away and anything else you might reasonably want is in Colmar only a few minutes beyond that on the motorway. There are a variety of towns, museums and other attractions readily accessible, not only within Alsace but also the Black Forest area of south west Germany and northern Switzerland. We had no difficulty in filling our days for a fortnight's stay and we are not hikers. It helps if you know some French or German because English comes a poor third when it comes to information in most of the museums. We enjoyed our stay and would have liked to have been able to stay longer.

This was one of the nicest rentals we have had in many years of visiting France. It was clean, comfortable, well-equipped and everything worked! The small outdoor area with bbq was a lovely extra. Do not worry that the owner does not speak english. We speak very bad french but he speaks so clearly that we did not have a problem. A lovely situation to set off for visits to the mountains or the many beautiful villages. Do not be put off by the insurance requirement, just make sure that you have public liability cover on your household or travel insurance.

Quiet and comfortable, very clean and tastefully decorated apartment with a nice garden in a beautiful and quiet village was exactly what we needed in our vacation in Alsace. You just feel like home at the end of vacation and it's so hard to leave! Sylvie and Jean-Marc are very kindness, friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for visiting the most beautiful places in Alsace Haut-Rhin, Schwarzwald and surrounding area. We highly recommend Gîte Ghisalberti for wonderful stay for couples, families with kids, romantic holydays, etc. Sylvie and Jean-Marc, thank you so much for this magnificent vacation week!
