American Chalet

We really enjoyed our stay at the American Chalet. It is ideally located for exploring the Clermont area while providing a quiet and peaceful location to chill out. Local amenities are a short walk away, boulangerie, crèmerie and a well stocked supermarket. Our host was friendly and made sure that we were happy with everything, without being intrusive. He gave recommendations for places to eat and visit and introduced us to the local winemaker. I would recommend tasting the wines if you have the opportunity - they are a bit different but we really liked them and they are reasonably priced. We would certainly stay here again and thank you to our host for a great stay.

beautiful, very quiet flat! Ideal for exploring Clermont-Ferrand and the volcanic Auvergne. We also loved cities like Vichy, Volvic and more. Rich is a good host, gave us very good tips, from the good winemaker to the best cheese in the area. We were also always able to use the pool on our own, so we had good privacy. Thanks again for that! If we are in this not yet so touristy corner of France again, we will certainly go back to this beautiful holiday flat. All the best Claudia and Jürgen

Le logement est idéalement situé pour toutes les visites aux alentours . Très bon accueil et disponibilité du propriétaire . Superbe vue depuis la piscine. Nous recommandons vivement cette location

Die Wohnung ist nett eingerichtet, sauber und bietet neben voll eingerichteter Küche gutes WLAN. TV über Internet (Netflix etc. war inclusive) ging gut. Vor dem Haus konnten wir in der Sonne sitzen und unseren Wein trinken. Aus dem Garten kann man bis zum Puys de Dôme sehen. Die Lage ist gut (wir kamen mit dem Auto). Sehr ruhiger Ort mit direkten Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen und idealer Startpunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Im Ort ist ein Supermarkt, Bäckerei etc. vorhanden. Der Vermieter ist außergewöhnlich nett und hilfsbereit. Er hilft und gern und gibt gute Tipps für Besichtigungen etc. und hat uns einen tollen Kontakt zu einem Winzer vermittelt. Es entstand sehr schnell ein freundschafliches und unkompliziertes Verhältnis. Sehr empfehlenswert für einen Urlaub.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay together with our 3.5 month old baby. Rich is a great host. Friendly, attentive and has great respect for privacy. The chalet is very well maintained and has everything you need to have a relaxing holiday. Rich arranged a travel cot for the baby himself which saved us space in the car. The chalet is very accessible by buggy and the spacious hall and dressing room are extremely practical. The house feels cool on hot days. You can enjoy the outdoor life on the accompanying terrace with parasol. On hot days we enjoyed cooling off in the swimming pool whose water is heated by a solar boiler. Blanzat is a quiet and pleasant village equipped with all necessary and quality shops. The delicious bakery just a few minutes' walk away is very convenient. Within a short drive you can already see many sights that beautiful Auvergne has to offer. The large city of Clérmont-Ferand, a 15-minute drive away, has everything a modern city needs. In short, we enjoyed a satisfying holiday as a young family in this residence!

Nous avons passez une très bonne semaine dans le chalet de Rich ! Il est accueillant et très aimable. Je vous recommande vivement de prendre cette location !

Il arrive de faire des rencontres exceptionnelles ! Ce fut le cas ! La ville de Banzat est idéalement située au Nord de Clermont-Ferrand. 20 min de Paleopolis, 25 du Puy de Dôme, 25 min de Gergovie, 30 min du château de Murol. Le seul reproche que l'on pourrait faire, c'est d'être trop calme 😋 Le logement quant à lui est grand et spacieux. La cuisine et la salle de bain possèdent tous les éléments nécessaires pour passer un séjour assez long. Idéal pour 2 personnes, le canapé-lit permet d'accueillir 2 enfants de bas âge en complément. La piscine permet après une longue journée de pouvoir se refroidir/reposer. Mais ce qui fait le réel plus de ce lieu est la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Richard dit "Rich". Nous avons passé 2 agréables soirées en sa compagnie et celle de son fils ce qui rend ce lieu tel que je conçois le Airbb. Je ne peux que vous recommander ce lieu !!! Amicalement Marc-Antoine

Nous sommes vraiment ravis de notre séjour dans la location ! La maison est très propre, fonctionnelle et l accueil par le propriétaire à été parfait ! Gentillesse et disponibilité, super ! Nous recommandons cette location !
