Wir konnten unseren Urlaub in einem wunderschönen und liebevoll gestaltetem Ambiente verbringen. Das Ferienhaus ist hochwertig und und in allen Belangen bestens ausgestattet, - sowohl die Innenarchitektur und das Mobiliar bestechen durch ihre elegante Schönheit als auch die professionelle Kücheneinrichtung. Auf Sauberkeit wird besonders geachtet. Und im Außenbereich ist u.a. mit einer Lounge für jegliche Entspannung gesorgt. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die Betreuung durch den Vermieter, dem es gelingt, Nähe und Freiraum des Gastes in Einklang zu bringen. Unvergesslich eröffnete er uns die Schönheit dieser Region oder stand mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Fast als Freund... Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen.

Hervorragender Aufenthalt. Philippe hat die Mühle stilvoll renoviert. Sehr ansprechende Schlafzimmer - alles sehr sauber und gut zu nutzen. Philippe ist sehr, sehr freundlich und kenntnisreich. Ein toller Gastgeber. Sehr zu empfehlen für einen Wanderurlaub in den Seealpen.

Quel bonheur d'avoir Philippe Maisonneuve comme hôte! Ancien moulin très joliment restauré, en pleine nature, à quelques mètres de vasques fraiches, 45mn du rivage, et 1h à peine du parc du Mercantour où on peut faire de si belles balades! L'accueil si chaleureux de Philippe dès l'arrivée, les dizaines de conseils tous plus pertinents les uns que les autres sur les activités, que ce soit spots de balades, sport, lieux à visiter ou activités culturelles...y compris bons restos!! Et que dire des discussions passionnantes sur l'histoire et la géographie de la région! Pour celui qui veut tester Philippe en sport, proposez-lui de faire un running ensemble......mais soyez humble! 15 jours superbes dans cette magnifique région!

Fünf Sterne für dieses Objekt. Das Haus wurde mit Liebe saniert ohne den Charme des alten Gebäudes zu zerstören. Ideal für Menschen, die Ruhe in einer spektakulären Natur suchen. Sehr netter Gastgeber.

Wir haben die Zeit in diesem wunderschönen Haus sehr genossen. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in die Berge und an die Küste. Wegen der zahlreichen Kurven muss aber mit mehr Fahrtzeit gerechnet werden. Das Haus ist perfekt eingerichtet und der Vermieter sehr hilfsbereit. The whole process from reserving the property through to the arrival was really easy. Philippe the owner met us on arrival to show us around the mill and ensured we all got settled in after our journey. On the second evening Philippe cooked us dinner and took time to answer our questions on the area and provide recommendations on places to visit. In summary we had a fantastic holiday staying in a wonderful property and hope to be back in the near future for another visit!

If you enjoy nature and weant to stay somewhere truly stunning, the Old Oil Mill is the place for you. The accomodation is comfortable and spacious, with a large outdoor table, sun loungers and a BBQ. In nearby Contes you will find a large Intermarche supermarket with all the chease and local products you could wish for. There are lots of roads into the mountains nearby which all provide stunning views over the flower covered mountains. Lot of places to visit 30 mins to half a day away by car, not to mention Cannes, Nice, Monaco all accessible easily by train (if you want to avoid trying to navigate round busy roads in town) from La Trinite Victor - free parking in white parking bays near the station, cheap train fares. We visited San Remo in Italy by train also. The roads nearby the Oil Mill are narrow and steep, but fine if you take it slowly - I recommend a smaller rather than bigger car for these roads. The owner was very kind and helpful, meeting us to show us the way, and stocking up the fridge with some food for our arrival. Highly recommended........

This charming house is very good refurbished, the living room with its old millstones makes it extraordinary! Everything is very clean and in perfect condition, the electrical appliances are of good quality. There is plenty of room for 4 or more persons. The owner, who is living in a seperate part of the house, is very friendly and helpful giving tips about the region, hiking etc., and if you get the chance ask him for cooking . The house is placed near a narrow road wich is very quite apart from some cars passing in the morning and the evening. You can start hiking near the house or drive to the higher mountains( half an hour by car). There you´ll find charming little villages and wonderful nature. If you need something else, Nice and its beautiful neighbours are about 3\4 hour by car.Cap Ferrat and Cap Antibes are breathtaking! If you go there please do us a favour and give hugs to the neighbour!! (he is a beautiful donkey). Carola and Michael from Hamburg.
