The gites were very comfortable and well equipped, surrounded by fields and vineyards.The grandchildren loved the swimming pool, games room and animals to feed. The male adults enjoyed barbecuing and sampling local wines. Many places of interest to visit within a couple of hours drive. Dan was available for advice throughout our stay and ensured that we all made the most of our few days at Le Manoir.Thank you Dan.
From the very first, Dan was most welcoming.The accommodation ( Bonnezeaux ) was well laid out and comfortably furnished. The sound of Turtle Doves was very soothing and also the added surprise of Stone Curlews calling. In the wildflower meadow beyond the goats there were more Marbled White butterflies than we have ever seen in one place before along with other varieties.The goats were delightful and the chickens provided us with some really tasty eggs Overall, we had a lovely time.
Les Touches is a place for a family to enjoy. Everything you need is there. The swimming pool is superb. A lot of space for kids to play. Also goats, chickens, dogs, cats and hedgehogs to feed. Views, and in particular, sunsets are spectacular. Close to the World famous Zoo de Doue, Rocmenier, Montreiul Bellay, Puy de Notre Dame and Saumur home of the Cadre Noir and the tank museum.
