Apartment Chalet Club - Val Claret-8 by Interhome

😊: The location is convenient, close to Val Claret and the ski lifts. 😢: The listing claims there is wifi. There is none, you have to get a device from the Interhome office and pay a daily fee. The apartment is filthy, with hairs and stains covering the beds, pillows, towels, linen and kitchen utensils. The wrong bed linen was provided and you have to make your own beds on arrival. There are little to no basic amenities, e.g. soap, shower gel, a knife for chopping food. There are two TVs, both do not work. There is no soundproofing, so you hear construction noises and people talking and playing music through the night. The apartment building is dilapidated. There are ash trays, dog urine and faeces in the entrance, hallways and lifts smell of stale tobacco and sewage. Flattened cardboard boxes cover the floor where I assume the carpet has rotted away. The car park is around 10 minutes walk, in a separate building. No address is given. It took 2 hours and 2 phone calls to find it, as we arrived after the Interhome office had closed (6pm). We made some complaints, but the staff at Interhome honestly didn't care. We had to suck it up and make the best of it..
