Apartment in residence of Provence under the pines with 300m of the sea

We booked our holiday to Bandol for some end of summer sun and relaxation, also wanting to avoid the more well known tourist locations along the south coast and weren't disappointed. The accomodation was perfectly located, a short stroll from some of the smaller less crowded beachs and some rather rocky coastal walks (would definitely recommend going west for some stunning views). Also a well stocked mini supermarket, shops and restaurant on the sea a few minutes walk away. We arrived in Bandol by train (the station was about 1km out) and being without a car wasn't a problem for sightseeing; the train services along the coast were very good. To get to town took perhapsa 15 minute walk, 20 if you took the coastal path, so a good distance to walk off dinner. Accommodation came fully equipped for pretty much every scenario, was very spacious for the two of us, and the balcony was a bonus for lazy breakfasts. We were apparently the first English guests and the owners were very accommodating and helpful in giving us info on the local area and liasing beforehand by email. Would definately stay again.
