Appart 1 chambre en hypercentre au pied du métro

Location is perfect (close to the center, nice neighborhood), and the price is reasonable for Lille. But major comfort issues: Very strong bad smell when we arrived, not pleasant. Everything is set to eco mode with temperature locked at 20°C – we were very cold the whole stay (early January), and the thermostat box was locked, impossible to increase. The host said there was "no limit" in private homes, but we know there is no legal maximum temperature limit in private rentals in France – it was just the forced eco mode. This is really the absolute minimum for winter, disappointing. No kitchen hood. Too bad because the apartment had potential, but too cold and poorly equipped for a cozy stay.

😊: This is based on our personal experience (march 2025). - the Appartement was cold and humid. Pretending to act for the environment, but saving greedily some euros, the owner cut the temperature at 19 degrees, while it was cold and wet the whole night and certainly less than 19degree! The heating did not run at all! This is nowhere announced. On top did the heating make loud noises and waking us up at 7 am each day. Drunk people did not let us sleep until 2am. - the pictures were faked to be bright while the Appartement is dark and on the 1st floor. The whole house is creepy and dark, including the bathroom that is humid and stinks, with no real toilette! - the bed is 140cm, not a double bed and just enough for a teenager, but not 2 adults! Nothing, but really nothing, justifies 250 euros for this. You could say that The announcement largely oversells this Appartement. In reality it is a rip off for which I am trying to get my money back..

We really enjoyed our stay here. Thanks.<br>#128577; 1) Although I understand that late check outs are not always possible, I would've appreciated this option as our train back was later at night. 2) The key chain/ring needs to be changed as it is sharp and the keys are coming off. 3) Some proper hooks in the bathroom could be helpful.

Bel appartement. Bruit infernal toute...<br>#128578; L'appartement est très bien aménagé.<br>#128577; Des travaux sont en cours dans la rue et vont encore durer plusieurs semaines ou mois. C'est inadmissible de ne pas avoir été prévenue. J'avais des conférences toutes la journée avec un bruit infernal ! L'agence qui s'occupe de l'appartement n'a pas été très compréhensible sur ce point.
