😊: Good location, small, nicely refurbished apartment with beautiful view from the balcony. Kitchenette is well equipped, although too small to really cook or wash dishes. There were basic amenities in the cupboard, which is always nice to find.. 😢: The agency, Foncia, which manages the apartment is inflexible, complicated and the service is client unfriendly. I have been staying to Banyuls for many years now, but never had such an unfriendly experience. One has to pick up and also return the keys at the agency in the town center, the return is not mentioned in the description. If there is nobody who can hand and take over the apartment in person, you should offer the standard key box solution at the apartment. I choose this location for it's proximity to the train station (pointed out extra in the description) to easily access walking with my luggage on arrival and departure, impossible she to this poor service. The online check-in and check-out process is overcomplicated and serves only the convenience of the agency. One has to accept a lengthy "state of affairs" and follow a long process and rules to leave the apartment (inlc. how to pull up and down the bed linen you paid for). This supposed to be a holiday rental, not the military. Foncia wanted me to bring back to the agency the used bed linen and towels - for which I paid an extra fee, as it is not included in the price - before leaving. They seriously expected me to walk down and up the steep streets with my luggage a their big bag of laundry. As if I would provide them a service, not the other way round. Stay away from apartments managed by this agency, choose one with a host. The apartment is advertised for up to 4 person, but it is comfortable max. for 2, as there is no place to range more luggage and stuff. The shower is small (low and narrow), for men or bigger person difficult to use..
