Appart-chalet 5 spacieux, lumineux, skis aux pieds, route du Tour de France

This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, centrally located apartment ticked every box for the nine of us staying at Chalet Georgie. First location - For skiing the cross town bucket lifts are only 100 metres away which take you to the start of the pistes, alternatively ski's on 100 metres the other way for a short ski down to a lift. For food & drink, hotel Carabou bar and restaurant next door (No noise - don't worry) offer the best burger in resort - "The Carabou Burger". For apres ski - Bar Indiana and Smithys Tavern are one street above and below. Plus...the Sherpa supermarket only 50 metres away in case you forget the milk. The accommodation - 5 star property with extra touches like slippers and toiletries, a sauna, smart TV & Wifi, Loads of glasses, plates etc, kettle, toaster. All your home comforts you could need. Plus free parking outside. The owners, only live upstairs and provide excellent communication before and during your stay. We would happily go back when visiting Alpe D'Huez. Only negative would be the lounge area only seats approx 7 people, so would be a squeeze for 10. But this did not ruin the holiday and would not stop us coming back at all. Probably one of the best ski apartments we've ever stayed in for location and facilities. A big thank you for a fantastic trip

We have just returned from our wonderful trip to Alpe d'hues and I cannot thank enough Laurence and her family for being such wonderful hosts. Our extended family (7 people, including two children) had a very enjoyable holiday, a big part of which was staying in a very comfortable, well presented and very conveniently located Chalet Georgie. The Chalet cannot be located more perfectly - walking distance to ski lifts, ski school and local restaurants, easy access by car from the main road, ample parking and yet quiet in the evenings. Upon arrival we found all rooms, kitchen and bathrooms well prepared and clean. The chalet has everything a family would need and we never felt we were missing anything. The hosts are extremely welcoming and pleasant family. Once again, we had a wonderful stay for which I would very much like to thank again Laurence and her family!

Your first impression will blow you away. The Chalet has a perfect location, close to the start of the slopes or to the ski lift (if there's no snow in the village), but also close to the center of the Village. Super market and ski rentals are very close (50 m). We stayed with 8 persons in the Chalet and it was spacious enough for us. Enough toilets and showers for everyone to prepare in the morning/evening. It is a little bit chaotic if all 8 persons wants to store their ski's & boots at the same time in the small entrance hall but this is really minor. On the other hand, we really liked the heating equipment to dry our boots! The sauna is blissful after a daylong ski trip. I would surely recommend it and would gladly revisit!

Absolutely superb apartment placed on the top of Alpe d'Huez. When racing La Marmotte you can't find a better place to stay.

Very nice chalet very comfortable and welcoming. Great location for restaurants and skiing would recommend to anyone well deserves 5 stars
