Appart'Hotel-Restaurant Castel Emeraude

We travel extensively and rarely have we been to such a beautiful hotel set in the most fantastic location. Our room was clean and comfortable, our meals in the restaurant superbly presented by cheerful and helpful staff, and the young male receptionist so very friendly. We would normally have given the property full stars EXCEPT we were very unhappy with the fact that a dog was allowed to roam around the serving and seating areas whilst guests were having breakfast. Too unhygienic for us! It appeared to belong to a member of staff who was not at all concerned that the dog was wandering around, sometimes taking food from diners. This was so wrong!

The room was spacious clean and comfortable bed. I recommend it. Good experience.

This place was great! Staff was so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious! The ambiance was infectious!!

Verry terrible service! No flexibility if you arriving late due traffic... i don't recommand this accommodation to anyone who travels from far. The solution was very simple, but the guy who works at the reception was very grumpy. I will also cancel my reservation in august on my way back to the Netherlands, because it was very stressfull for us..

Beautiful building with a gorgeous flowering almond tree on the front terrace. The sound of the Tech river from my balcony is magic. Excellent bed and linens. The breakfast is good (11 Euros) but the tea and coffee are awful due to the chlorinated water. "Ambient music" in the reception area, bar and dining room is annoying noise. Very friendly service.
