😊: The place was clean, the wifi worked, and there is a little bit of a view from the porch area. Also, you'll really get your steps in walking up to this place!. 😢: HOST REFUSED TO PROVIDE TOILET PAPER. We had one tiny roll of toilet paper when we arrived—I'm talking miniature, like it was stolen from a dollhouse. Unsurprisingly, it lasted one day. When we asked for another roll, the host quoted the listing that didn’t specify toilet paper and actually said, "I had given you a roll of toilet paper to help you out." ...thank you oh generous host overlord... WHO CHECKS TO SEE IF A BOOKING.COM LISTING PROVIDES TOILET PAPER? THAT SHOULD BE A GIVEN... The cherry on top? It took us 2 hours to get toilet paper because we had no car, the grocery store was 40 minutes away, and the buses were as rare as unicorns (plus there was a ton of uphill walking). After a long day in town, we had to embark on a toilet paper quest. Very frustrating as any self-respecting accommodation would provide this by default. And don’t get me started on the lack of hand soap in the bathroom. The location is terrible too—miles from town. If you don’t have a car, stay away from this place like it’s the plague.
