Appartement 2 chambres La Commanderie

The location of this property is great, it is very walkable to enjoy Colmar. The bedrooms are nice, cosy and quiet. However, communication was difficult and most of all we were disturbed by the overwhelming mildew smell in the bathroom. We bought a candle to burn in there which helped and emailed our concern but got no response. Hopefully they will fix that soon.

😊: The location is great and the host messages and responds promptly.. 😢: There was only one set of keys available which made our stay a bit more cumbersome as there were four of us travelling. The shower room has a serious sewage smell, which was present during the whole stay. The apartment looks nice in the pictures and is similar to the pics, but some elements in the apartment are very worn out / breaking..

😊: Straight forward, clear instructions, friendly and easy communication. The apartment's location is just perfect. Short walk to the station, in the heart of the most picturesque part of Colmar and conveniently close to everything we needed; we absolutely loved being based here for our trip to Alsace :). 😢: The deposit made us rather nervous while were on holiday, especially as there were a few broken glasses and a few other damages that we documented on arrival and we felt like those might be attributed to us if we didn't document them at the start of our stay, but everything was fine in the end, we kept the apartment in pristine condition and got our full deposit back so there was never any reason to worry..

😢: There was a bad smell from the sewer drain during our stay in 5 days. The landlord knew about it, but could not do anything. A nice apartment with central location, but the bad smell is not what you espect on your holiday. It seemed to be a design flaw☹️.

We had a pleasant stay. The only issues we experienced was the dishwasher was broken and leaked water all over the kitchen floor when we turned it on so we were not able to use it during our stay. The toilet seat needs replacing as it is broken and the towel rack in the bathroom stopped working during our stay and we had no hot water on the last night of our stay. Being Christmas day communication was scarce, understanding, however seeing we are paying for accommodation, it would have been great having someone attend to the issues especially the no hot water! Other than these issues, we had a great stay and the apartment was very comfortable and clean. We would stay again ensuring the issue we encountered were rectified.

Außergewöhnlich<br>#128578; Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und die Zimmer entsprechen exakt den Fotos und der Beschreibung. DIe Wohnung liegt im 2. Stock und ist sehr ruhig, d.h. von der Straße bekommt man nichts mit. Die Aussicht führt auf die autofreie Seitenstrasse und auf den Zugang zum Nachbargebäude. Durch die Fensterläden kann man die Wohnung von der Hitze außen gut schützen, die 2 sehr guten Ventilatoren helfen ebenfalls effektiv. Zudem ist das Wasser sehr kalt, in Leitung und Dusche, aber auch sehr heiß. Ganz wie man ...<br>#128577; Wie auch in anderen Bewertungen schon erwähnt, hat das Bad ein Problem mit dem Geruch. Woher er kommt, lässt sich nicht erkennen. Für die paar Tage haben wir das toleriert.

My husband and I stayed three nights in the flat. It was a wonderful surprise to find three fans in the flat as the weather had turned very warm. We were quite comfortable. The bed and pillows were very nice. The kitchen is equiped for basic needs. The flat is very spacious and in a GREAT location. Parking was difficult even with reserving a space. The garage was a long way away. The shower head needs replacing. In fact, the shower is the only negative about this flat. It's an easy fix and hopefully the management company will do something about it. Otherwise, it's a great place.
