😊: Very nice apartment very close to the interesting Chateau with it‘s wonderful parkland. Shops and cafes (inc the great boulangère and Carrefore) & model railway museum were only a few minutes walk away. Bus and train Station within easy reach. The Town itself is a great place from which to visit Versailles snd Chartres using the train.. 😢: Apartment layout was a little awkward but it’s not a big issue.

😊: This small apartment was of high quality. It was well presented, very clean and very well appointed. Being on the ground floor was a big bonus - only two (steep) steps up from the street. Amazing good fortune as the lady owner appeared fortuitously as we were failing to contact the telephone number provided for access details. She let us in and then phoned her husband for us so that we could make official contact. A terrific artisan boulangerie is 5 minutes walk away down the hill.. 😢: Things could have been difficult re access because we could not raise the owners' telephone number - see above. There is only charged on-street parking although we did find free parking about 8 minutes walk away. (Go back to the end of the street and turn right - parking is available outside the park..

😊: Nice, newly decorated apartment ideal for a couple of nights for me, my wife and daughter. Gerald was a great host meeting us on arrival. Close to a good value multistorey carpark. 15 minute walk from the train station that was quick and easy to go sightseeing in Paris and Versaille..

😊: Newly renovated cosy appartment in an old building. Top clealiness. Great bed. Charming hosts. Short walking distance to everything that matters as a tourist in Rambouillet: le Chateau, the typical French main street, the best restaurant (see Michelin guide), and even the train station.. 😢: Difficult to find a French café in the main street open for a typical French breakfast on a Tuesday (the closing day:-(). Not the hosts' fault!.
