Appartement à 1km de la gare de Caen et 9 Kms de la plage

😊: The apartment is located just outside the city, near to the train station. There is a bus stop outside the building. There is a bar tabac across the street and a short walk away, a boulangerie. The bed is very comfortable, we like a hard mattress. There is a dedicated parking space and lots of visitor parking.. 😢: The apartment is called Cacon meaning Cocoon There is nothing in the advert that tells you the apartment is on the 4th floor. That there is not a lift. After this you really need a cocoon, but sadly the double glazing doesn’t keep the street noise out. The flat is adjacent to two other apartments, both very noisy at nights. If you don’t have them already you will need ear buds to sleep. This apartment has window roller blinds for the night time. Sadly one in the living room and another in the bedroom do not close. As the apartment is South facing we were greeted by the morning sun. daily. We noticed straight away that the apartment does not have a kettle or cups. The cups were easy to source, but the kettle meant boiling water in a pan..
