Appartement à 5 min du métro et du parc des Buttes Chaumont 19ème

Cozy for 4. Likely ideal for 2. Had everything we needed and good value. Enjoyed cafe olympe and the park nearby.

We met Anna, the owner, at the entrance. She was gracious and accommodating as I did not speak French and she did not speak English. She showed us how to use the keys and around the apartment. She was very kind. Our plane did not leave until 6pm on check out day so I asked if we could stay late and she said no problem, without any charge as well! The apartment worked well for myself and my three children. We would have loved to have AC but left the windows open and it cooled off at night. Unfortunately, a side effect of this is that the mosquitos came in and my girls got bitten quite a bit. They happen to be pretty allergic to the bugs and had big welts on them by the end of the stay. Again, not the owners fault, just FYI. The final day of the stay though there was a knock at the door and a man said he was going to turn off the power if I didn’t open the door and pay the contract?! I refused and he actually shut off the power. I texted Anna she apologized and said she didn’t know what had happened. Honestly, we should have been checked out by then so she did us a favor but that was pretty unsettling for a women traveling with three kiddos. Not sure how electricity contracts work in Europe but it was weird.

Logement spacieux, bien équipé, bonne literie, hôte disponible et à l'écoute, environnement calme et très bien relié au reste de Paris, bouche de métro juste à côté, je recommande !!!!
