Appartement au cœur du centre ville - One-Bedroom Apartment

😊: Good location, modern apartment with most amenities.. 😢: Was advertised with no internet, but still am surprised in 2026 Europe. Watch your head near the loo. I’m not tall and hit it several times. No aircon and small windows. Ended up sleeping on the sofa as the bedroom reached temperatures well into the 30’s at night. No air con in France seems to be a common theme..

😊: Very nice place very clean very useable and great. Take note there are doors between bedroom and living area and a sofa that has seen better days for someone to sleep on. There were 2 issues.. parking and access see the section on what I didn't like. 😢: Parking 2 Blue badge spaces just outside but they are very popular. you have to use the free parking some 300m away on the same road as you approach the apartment from the west. Access really bad if you have heavy bags or disabled in anyway. 4 flights of wooden staircase (very old and beautiful) but on the second landing, the entrance to the apartment below has been built out into the staircase area, leaving a 40cm gap between door and staircase railing, to walk or take suitcases through. Also the occupants are very sensitive to the noise of people on the wooden staircase and trying to get through this ridiculous gap. Obviously the hosts can't fix this issue and I only mention this for people as I said who have heavy bags or who have sight issues (it's very dark and easy to miss your footing or have mobility issues. I will post some photo's.

😢: It is rare for properties not to provide wifi. If the property chooses not to provide wifi this should be made clear in the description, not buried in the small print. This was a very nice apartment, but I have mark it down on facilities . I would never have chosen it had I known there was no wifi. The inability to make onward travel arrangements was very stressful, and cost me money..
