😊: Perfect position, 5 minute walk to the beach. Near city centre and shops but also in a quiet place with wonderful lake view. The flat is very nice and comfortable. Kichen with many tools and high quality appliances. Host very very kind.. 😢: I would install a shower rather then a bath..

😊: Location was good for our plans to travel to Briancon and the valleys. The view from the apartment of the lake was good. Good value for money.. 😢: The collecting of the key from an address away from the apartment was difficult. Street numbers are not obvious and we had to get help from people in the street to find it. Anxiety when we struggled to open the key box. Although we knew that the apartment was on the 4th floor it was hard to get our luggage and food up the stairs. Host communicated by cellphone and allowed us to leave the key in the apartment instead of returning it to the box as we were in a rush.

😊: The apartment was as shown in the pictures. 2 nice bedrooms and a large living / kitchen area. The kitchen was well equipped and bathroom was fine. We enjoyed the views as the sun rose and set and the enclosed balcony is a nice feature. Parking was easy, free and plentiful. The area around the apartment is nice and I imagine the beach park at the bottom of the road is lovely in summer. Embrun centre ville is a short car ride away or quite a significant walk. Parking in town was free and available with a right turn at the first roundabout as you enter town. Embrun is a beautiful town! The huge Super U just down from the apartment was great, even having a bar that showed the rugby! I wish the UK supermarkets had this, I might even enjoy shopping! It was within easy reach of many ski resorts. We skied Les Orres, Crevoux (great on powder days) and St. Jean Monclar (home of a really exciting return lift!). The skiing was great and the drives there, spectacular. Although I didn't meet the host, we communicated via text. He was very friendly and helpful.. 😢: Nothing really! All I would say is the information clearly says that the apartment is on the top floor and it is! Those 62 steps ensure you really focus that nothing is left behind in the car! Saying that climbing stairs is good for your health and as I said the views from the apartment are spectacular..

😊: The apartment is in a great location, very well appointed,very clean and comfortable..
