Appartement avec son toit terrasse, en plein coeur de Marseille

😊: Location excellent, Apartment was excellent, excellent Aircon.. 😢: Apartment is top floor. Stairs only..

😊: Ideal location near to Metro, short walk to Old Port. Private and secure. Spacious flat with everything we needed.. 😢: The 3 flights of winding stairs up to the flat would be very difficult for some people. The toilet and shower/sink are in separate areas but this was OK..

😊: The location is excellent. 100m to the metro (same line that goes to the station where you take the bus to the airport - Gare Saint Charles), short walk to Le Vieux Port, 100m to a boulengerie, 300m to a supermarket. Spacious apartment, with comfortable seating area, and nicely fitted kitchen (complete with coffee, sugar, utensils etc.. 😢: The terrace (which was a big selling point for me) is up a steep, narrow, winding staircase which is a bit treacherous. There was a plastic cup under a leaking pipe, halfway up, that we had to attend to quite regularly. The bed is too big for the bedroom and therefore hard to get around without climbing over. The apartment is quite dark during the day. Oh, and it’s on the top floor with no elevator so we got PLENTY of exercise during our stay..
