Appartement avec terrasse tropezienne, Aups - Two-Bedroom Apartment

😊: The location was excellent. The apartment was a great size for two people, and very well equipped.. 😢: Unannounced renovation below → lots of noise and dust, no prior warning. General cleanliness of the apartment throughout. Stairs everywhere → narrow, steep steps to reach the top-floor flat - tough with luggage or mobility issues. Poor cooling → AC barely worked, and very warm overnight. Night time bells → the nearby clocktower rings at night - bring earplugs!.

😊: Large apartment in the historic center of Aups. The apartment is very spacious with a large terrace above the roofs of the buildings. There is a seating area and a grill on the terrace. There is a mobile air conditioner, which you cannot do without. The house is quite warm in the summer. There is a large, perfectly equipped kitchen. The bed is comfortable. Nice new bathroom and two toilets. Pick up the keys in the box at the entrance and communicate with the owner via WhatsApp. During our stay, we did not notice much noise from the city.. 😢: Getting to the apartment is a bit more challenging. You can't get to the city center by car, so you have to drag your luggage from the parking lot and then continue up a very long spiral staircase to the amartman. There are many more stairs in the apartment, so watch your fingers :). In all of France you have to sort your waste and take it to a public bin at the end of your stay. Ok, no problem, but why do they only have one waste bin? But it was like that in all apartments in France..

😊: Great location and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including well equipped kitchen and plenty of space to relax..

😊: Very spacious and lovely apartment with a superb location. Everything is within 2 minute walking distance. And let’s not forget the rooftop terrace. Amazing! To access the apartment you need to climb three stairs and in the apartment there are some steps too. We did not mind to climb those stairs but this is not a place you should book if you are having difficulty waking. The owners responded super fast (sometimes even within 5 minutes) to questions we had. So, a hidden gem in Aups and way better than the average hotels on site..
