😊: The kitchen is well equipped, the studio was clean, AC well functioning. Good communication with the host. Although a rather cheap stay, without a car is not worth it.. 😢: The place is accessible really only by car, rather far from the city centre. Although the studio was clean, there was a lingering unpleasant smell, especially in the common parts and outside the building..

😊: Apartamento muy bien equipado y con lo necesario para pasar unos días por el centro de Córcega. 😢: Zona tranquila pero quizá un poco apartado del centro del pueblo.

😊: Really beautiful location. Although the accommodation was rather difficult to find, it was absolutely worth the long walk (mostly uphill) from Corte train station and the host provided very helpful, up to the minute directions. While unprepossessing in appearance from the outside, this impression is deceptive because once you step inside the apartment, you realise that you are in a charming cottage, with freshly painted white walls and solid wooden beams on the ceiling. So much loving attention has been given to detail, with the colours of the patterned cushion covers on the couch, the two stools at the breakfast bar and the rug underneath carefully coordinated to reflect the pale pinks, salmon pink, deep pink, dusky pink, cream and magenta of the oleanders which grow in profusion all over Corsica. This ambience is enhanced by the handicrafts made from natural fibres decorating the walls. The kitchen was ample size for food preparation and cooking, equipped with a toaster, a stove and full oven and a large coffee plunger - so much more environmentally friendly than a coffee maker with all those polluting coffee pods. The double bed in the bedroom was adorned with a bedspread embroidered in subtle tones and furnished with two bedside tables and lamps. Another thoughtful gesture was the bookshelf in the lounge which contained a wide range of information on Corsica, including hiking trails around Cortes. As well as this written material, there were some games on the bookshelf which more than compensated for the lack of a television. It was so peaceful and tranquil, the only sound was the singing of the birds and the water trickling over the boulders in the river nearby. This feeling of being surrounded by nature was reinforced by the ivy surrounding the small window in the bathroom which even had a birds nest on the ledge outside. The best aspect of all was the spectacular view of the trees and mountains from the large double window in the lounge room.. 😢: The only suggestion for improvement would be a larger frying pan in the kitchen and a more generous supply of soap in the bathroom..

😊: Great little place for a reasonable price, comfortable bed, sound of the river outside the window, good contact with the owner, she gave us set of very helpful tips for our stay in the area.. 😢: nothing.

😊: Great flat, separate shower and toilet room, small kitchen with all you need. Beautiful view and quiet neighbourhood. River in the backyard. Key box access. 😢: Probably need to car or bike, a bit far from center but accessible in 20min! We did it to go for dinner at night and it was ok.
