Appartement centre Apt Bèlavista luberon

😊: Excellent location in the centre of the town. Whilst the building from the front and the communal hallway needs a little love, the top floor and the apartment have been beautifully restored and decorated. We stayed for 6 nights and had an excellent and very comfortable stay. All the facilities within the apartment: beds, kitchen, bathroom, sitting area were all in excellent condition, worked well and were very comfortable. The views from the windows across the town to the village of Saignon on its rock and across the Calvin to the town itself were exceptional. With the double-glazed windows closed, there was very little noise from outside. A very short walk to the centre of the town, where there is a small supermarket and a short drive to the main supermarkets with petrol forecourts outside the town centre. Definitely recommend Ô Vin du Coin for local wines. Parking is available opposite the building in the free Calvin river parking area, although this can flood in severe weather. We had great weather when there, so not a problem for us. The owners were very helpful & met us on arrival. Also very easy to communicate with in French or English and very easy to contact on the phone if necessary.. 😢: These are not dislikes but should be considered: It is difficult to get to Apt on public transport and I would highly recommend hiring a car. In particular there is no train service to Apt. The station closed before the Second World War to passengers although the advert seems to say it is possible to get from Marseilles to Apt o the train, this is not the case. The apartment is on the third floor of the building. This should be considered by anyone with mobility problems. There is no lift. The stairs however do not have high treads and are well lit..
