😊: Great location. 😢: It would have been nice to have a toaster. Shower tray was cracked, although the owners did say this was going to be replaced..

😊: As we couldn't get into apartment for 3 hours after the start of check in, liked nothing. 😢: Arrived at 2:30pm, the check in time and messaged the owner for instructions to get in. No reply, continued messaging over the next 3 hours and still no response. Was just about to book some where else when 20min before end of check in finally got a template message. No apology, no explanation. Extremely poor service. Went and got key from a shop 10min away and then got in. Owners father turned up with sheets for sofa bed and said cleaner was in hospital and he was there to clean. But it was already clean as main bed was made and everything was tidy. Owners live in Paris so are not local and completely non-responsive. Another woman two days ago had left a similar review, she got stranded too. If they want to offer a room they should actually be prepared to provide the service..

😊: I was never given access so, nothing.. 😢: Worst rental experience of my life. Owner not local, not responsive and NOT helpful. Agreed in writing to allow access by noon to store luggage, then never provided access info to allow that. Left me stranded out on a busy city street alone with my heavy luggage and wouldn’t respond to repeated messages asking for building access. Only AFTER all of this did they advise me that a key to enter the building has to be retrieved from a totally different location, a commercial storefront 15-20 minutes walk away. That needs to be DISCLOSED and EMPHASIZED up front. This town is quite remote and people are traveling in via taxis and shuttles with luggage. Why would an owner think it’s okay to leave them stranded outside in a busy city, on a hot sidewalk with their bags, and only THEN tell them they have to go 15 min away for a key???!! Horrible, scary experience..

Superb<br>#128578; It was very clean and quiet. I really enjoyed it, and would go back in my next visit to Boulogne sur mer. I could cook, get the food I needed close and the neighbours were friendly.<br>#128577; I would have liked to have a towel provided, but it is not really a big deal, because everything else was good.
