Appartement Cosy

😊: Really well equipped kitchen, spacious apartment, comfortable bed and good location near the station and a ten minute walk from the centre!. 😢: The towels smelled a bit musty and there's a large glass window connecting the living room to the terrace without blinds or curtains so you can feel a bit exposed at night with the lights on as the entire building can access the terrace. Not a huge deal but I think guests might be more comfortable if there were curtains there..

😊: Apartment is located very close to the train station (about 7-10 min by foot) - convenient if you have to take an early train. Wifi worked well. Bedsheets seemed clean.. 😢: What to even start with? This place has several serious problems, and we were very surprised to see that none of them were mentioned in the reviews. First of all, mold. MOLD. The kind of mold that is hidden in the walls, under the floor, and whose sweet and slightly fishy stench permeates everything - your clothes, your backpack, everything! When we checked in and opened the door, we were met with this smell, but what was more disgusting was this dark brown liquid oozing from the gap in the warped floorboards. The wall next to the bathroom has visible mold growing inside it. Which is not a surprise, given the fact that you cannot properly ventilate this apartment - you can only open the doors that lead to the courtyard, which may (as it did in our case) bring in an additional smell of sewage. You can of course open the entrance door (that leads to the main hallway of the building), but I would not recommend it unless you fancy a thick smell of cigarettes. There was no duvet or comforter or anything like this on the bed or anywhere in the apartment. Of course, it is summer, but during the last night of our stay temperatures dropped, and sleeping under only one thin bedsheet was not very comfortable. I sent a message to the host but never received any reply..

😊: Nice ground floor apartment with a terrace in walking distance to the station and the old town. The owner, Julie is very helpful with instructions and responsive to any questions.. 😢: The ad said that there was a washing machine and drying rack but there is not. Some local information would be nice to have. In the apartment..

😊: The place is modern, stylish, spacious, and well equipped. Big comfy bed, great shower, great wi-fi, smart fitted kitchen. (Love the saucepan drawer!) Small outdoor space with table and chairs for some air and sun. It is situated within easy walking distance of both the train station and the delightful old city of Perpignan. Julie helped me out immensely when my travel plans were affected by a train strike, and I needed an early check-in. She was flexible on check- out, too, which I really appreciated. Great communication throughout! Highly recommend Apartment Cosy, good price too! 😁💕. 😢: From the outside the place looks a bit tatty, but a lovely surprise awaits inside!.
