😊: Nice view from terrace and lounge - not from bedroom. Very well equipped kitchen for cooking but very cramped - cant sit at the table and open the dishwasher. Plenty of onsite parking. Quiet area.. 😢: Hot water cylinder very noisy. Lack of towels and bathmat - only one towel provided (hopeless if wanted to go swimming in lake), no hand towels and no bathmat despite it being impossible to stop the shower water getting onto the bathroom floor. No extractor fan in bathroom so room steams up and vanity lights don't work (one intermittent and the other out). Nowhere by the bed to put a glass of water or phone - even a small stool, given the small space, would have been appreciated. While kitchen was well equipped all knives needed sharpening. As overseas visitors it would have been nice to have some dishwasher tablets provided. Place was advertised as having a restaurant onsite - it has been permanently closed for some time. Listing suggests Sainte Croix is around 200m away - to get to anything in Sainte Croix you need a car as is more 2km to the town/restaurant area. Don't got to the Taverna - drinks tasted like they water down the spirits..

😊: The view and the property was brilliant. The host helped as much as she could over Whatsapp when I got a little confused about locking the door. It was completely my fault as I wasnt familiar with the French house locks which need to be turned up to turn the key. The hostess helped me as much as she could. The house is on the ground floor. You can see the lake clearly from the living room and the balcony. The kitchen is also equipped properly.. 😢: The property is located in a place where the closest restaurant is 10-12 kms away. There was a supermarket about 5 kms away but the timings are quite erratic. May be it was because of the low tourist season of October. The restarurant on the site was also closed. It is not the fault of the properly of course. Please ensure that you go there with plenty of food and drinks especially if you plan to reach there late evening..
