😊: It was modern, clean, and comfortable, with everything you need. The private parking is a real bonus. The apartment looks even nicer in person than it does in the photos..

😊: A super apartment with everything that you would want for tour stay. Brochures in the drawer under the tv provided details of the appliances. Great coffee machine. Washing machine and dishwasher. Super size tv. Bedrooms a decent size. Shower was great. Only a few minutes walk from the canal, five minutes walk to a very good patisserie, just over the bridge, and the market square. 10 miles to the town of Cassel, definitely worth a visit. A good off road parking space just in front of the apartment. Our host was excellent,. 😢: Access to the apartment was by two sets of quite steep stairs, one set outside and the other inside. Ok for us, in our 70's, but could be difficult for others with less mobility. Kept us fit! It was very hot during our stay so we had our roof windows open and sometimes the road noise was loud..

😊: Entry was via a keycode sent by Fred, the owner.. 😢: If you are travelling by car, both google maps and Apple maps struggled, in fact google tried to turn us into a no entry at the wrong end of the street and Apple maps took us to a footpath! The property is listed as no1 and should read 1b, and a what3words location would be really helpful..
