The apartment was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers). Check-in was easy and Marie quickly responded to the few questions we had. The beds were comfortable. During the day we heard some normal neighborhood noises, which is typical in Paris and part of its charm. At night it was unbelievably quiet! The apartment is also conveniently located near several metro stops and Gare du Nord, which made it very easy to see all of Paris!

A lovely, truly frenc,h apartment. Well appointed, clean and tidy. We loved the authentic feel of the place.

Returning to this beautiful apartment each evening was a highlight of our family stay in Paris. We enjoyed the quiet, comfortable apartment in the vibrant neighborhood, well connected to the rest of the city by metro La Chapelle (closest), metro Louis Blanc (most calm), and Gare du Nord (easy CDG transfer). Marie was easy to reach, kind, and efficient with communication. She provided clear check in instructions and a helpful guide to the neighborhood. Excellent stay, would highly recommend.

A very thoughtful host! She had prepared lots of information for her guests to immediately feel at home in the neighbourhood and was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay.

Very nice apartment! We Really enjoyed our stay there. The only thing we did not Like so much were some aspects of the street life in rue Louis Blanc and around Place La Chapelle: much too much waste and litter on the sideways and in the streets and so many men selling untaxed cigarettes or just hanging out on the streets..

First floor apartment with easy short walk to 3 metro stations. Lovely accomodation with antique furniture to suit the old building, with a modern kitchen and shower room. Excellent shower. Good bakery and supermarket very close and we enjoyed Bharath and Arpeggio restaurants.

We spent a week in the apartment and were very satisfied. The apartment is spacious, with two bedrooms and a large living room featuring a comfortable dining table and a grand piano. The kitchen is well-equipped with cutlery, a washing machine, a microwave, and a fridge. The apartment is both cozy and stylish, making it an ideal choice for someone who needs to practice the piano during their vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The location is very convenient, with many supermarkets nearby, and both metro and train stations within walking distance. The only concern is the area’s relatively poor reputation for safety. It’s advisable to stay alert, especially when walking alone in metro areas at night. Otherwise, it’s nearly perfect and truly lives up to its name as “an artist’s apartment with a grand piano.”
