Appartement dans grande villa avec piscine

We had a wonderful couple of weeks staying at Annie's apartment on the hills above the beautiful town of Ceret. The apartment is spacious and well equipped, with gorgeous views from the garden across the hills towards the sea. The great pool was the perfect tonic to counter the heatwave in Southern Europe, and the apartment is perfectly positioned to access the nearby beaches in both France Spain. Annie was a great host, providing lots of useful tips and assistance without being in any way intrusive.

Appartement confortable et très bien équipé, en rez-de-chaussée d'une villa. Vue magnifique depuis la pièce principale, sur le jardin et sur la montagne. Propriétaire sympathique et discrète.

Une vue magnifique depuis la terrasse, une charmante propriétaire avec un chien qui s'est enfui d'une bande dessinée. Grande piscine, malheureusement le temps était plus si chaud pour l'utiliser. Appartement spacieux et confortable avec accès privé. Garage disponible. La région est idéale pour la marche et le vélo. La propriétaire connait bien la région ainsi que les joies de la vie. Sur ses suggestions, nous avons découverts de nouveaux vins et recettes, ainsi que des restaurants qui proposent des produits locaux et honnêtes.

Accueil très sympathique de la propriétaire. Location très bien située, confortable, avec de l'espace, une vue magnifique et une grande piscine. Un excellent séjour pour nous et nos trois petits enfants.

My wife, 2 children (girls in the age of 4 and 6) and me wanted to spend our holiday this year in the Pirenees close to the sea. We have found a beautiful house with a swimming pool, situated on the slope with a beautiful mediterranean garden and magnificent view on hills and sea. We had very high expectations and have to say that... the reality was even better than we expected!!! Area: The place is really great. Ceret is situated at the beginning of the Pyrenees close to the Mediterranean sea and only a few kilometers to the Spanish border. Thanks to that you can always have a good weather, because the mountains stop the clouds. From that place you can expect almost every possible atraction: if you like to lay on the beach -just 30 minutes. If you like hiking in the mountains - the hills are at place and a really high mountains 1 hour from there. If you like sightseeing, you have lots of beautiful villages, old chappels and churches.  House: The house has a very sophisticated architecture and is very exceptional among the other houses in the area. You will get over 100 meters with 3 bedrooms, living room, really big kitchen (full equipped), 2 toilettes and 2 bathrooms, garage for your car (I have parked with an almost 5 meters long mercedes E class). In front of the house you have your own private garden with a terrace from which there is a magnificent view on the Pyrenees and even on the sea! There we could hsve all our breakfasts and suppers, enjoying the warmness, quietness and peacfullness of the place! The swimming pool is quite big and deep enough to jump. From the stairs side the depth is around 1m. Due to its depth, the temperature of the swimming pool is not too high, but it's warm enough to play and swim and it will refresh you really well after a sun bath on a sunbed:) During our stay, the temperature of the water was around 24-25 degrees. Housekeeper: The owner of the house is a charming lady. She speaks excellent English which is really unusual in France (you can believe me, it's really hard to communicate in France if you don't know French language, even with the young people - I don't know what they are doing at school!!!). The lady used to travel a lot in the past, she visited places all over the world and can tell you lots of interesting stories about the area of Ceret. We really enjoyed talking with her! But she is not intrusive:) so if you want just to rest without any other people, it's still a good place for you:)
