Appartement dans maison individuelle avec jardin 2 étoiles

We had a lovely appartment to ourselves that was comfortable and had all the facilities we required. The location is excellent. It’s a few steps away from the main square where there are lots of bars, a supermarket and a tourist information office. It is in a really quiet back street. We were able to sit in the garden and enjoy watching the birds. The top-end of Le Valeen cablecar is 10 minutes walk away. It takes you down to Le Fayet for 2.50. Alternatively if you want to walk through the park, you can take the Ascenseur (free) down to it and through the park to the station. Our hosts are very friendly and helpful. They helped us understand the the local area, it’s history, and how to get about. We did several walks in the area mostly by taking the train to Viaduc St Marie or Chamonix. There’s also a free bus to nearby villages which we used to get to the start of our walk.

Superbe semaine à Saint-Gervais. Accueil inégalable. Propriétaires d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Logement avec toutes commodités. Très bien pour 4 personnes Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Nous avons vécu une semaine magnifique. Tout était parfait dans l appartement. Le jardin, très joli est un véritable plus. La situation vraiment parfaite car nous avons pu faire beaucoup de choses à pied: courses, restaurants, glaces.... Merci à Mr et Mme Bernier pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur souci constant de notre bien-être.

This is a cosy warm apartment in the centre. Madame and Monsieur Bernier were extremely welcoming and helpful during our stay. The house is very convenient for all the town amenities and only a short uphill walk to the bus for the gondola station, but it was easy enough in ski boots and with two teenage children in tow! The bedrooms are a good size and the kitchen is well equipped and has a TV where we sat and watched the olympics!

Traditional French property located very close to the centre of St.Gervais & its facilities. Appt. contains everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Easy access to the main gondola station.
