We had a fantastic stay here. On arrival the check in process was very simple, we were greeted warmly and told everything we needed to know for a straightforward and comfortable stay. Philippe and Rachel are warm, generous and helpful hosts while giving lots of privacy and respect. As to the property, our expectations were exceeded; we loved cooking in the outdoor kitchen and the pool was fantastic, we swam every day and this was perfect in the heat. The countryside is beautiful, do follow the recommendations of Rachel for places to visit, we were not disappointed. Highly recommend you have a car to explore the surrounding area of Provence. Thank you Rachel and Philippe for a wonderful trip, we’d love to return!

We booked 3 nights accommodation at this villa at very short notice and what a gem! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking to escape the hustle and bustle from daily life. We tried to book for an extra night but the villa is so popular that it’s booked for the remainder of the summer! Special thanks to our hosts who made us feel so welcomed, relaxed and at home.

We spent a wonderful week in Grans! The house, the garden, the pool area - everything is arranged beautifully, with love to details (like a UV black light insect attraction lamp - for which I was really thankful when sitting outside in the evening)! We really enjoyed our holidays in this peaceful place! Places like this are hard to find - and we will definitely be back! A big shout to Rachel and Philippe for all their care! They are perfect hosts! I myself couldn't believe that the pictures really represent reality - but they do - 100%!

"Paradise" - this is what Philippe and Rachel call their wonderful place outside of Grans in the heart of the Provence. And they are absolutely right to do so! The apartment adjacent to their own home is well-equipped and perfectly situated to discover this amazing region of France, we really enjoyed our 2-week-stay! All the major places to see (Salon de Provence, Avignon, the Alpilles, Arles, Camargue, Aix-en-Provence, Marseille, Luberon…) are to be reached within a one-hour-drive. We really found peace and quiet here, as the Santini family is very considerate to give their guests an excellent holiday. With their caring attention and all the lovely animals paying regular visits (including a friendly, but ever-hungry greyhound and some cuddly cats) you really feel like a part of the family. The chickens supplied fresh eggs. The covered outdoor kitchen is the perfect place to spend time outside even when - as it happened to us - Provence weather is a bit changeable and rainy. When it is hot instead, air condition provides a cool climate inside the apartment. And there is a variety of places in the garden to enjoy the sun, including the beautiful pool area which is shared with the family (who will not use it at the same time as their guests). The plancha is grill is easy to use and to clean - no coal needed! We say thank you to Rachel and Philippes many good advices what to see and where to go. We absolutely reccommend this 'Paradis' and are already considering coming again! Barbara & Norbert

We had an amazing time in the lovely apartement of Philip and Rachel. They are perfect hosts, very caring and thoughtful about every detail. They even provided some outdoor toys for our one-year old boy. In inside and outside of the apartment is very well planned and serves all desires a guest could have. This is indeed a Provence paradise and we will soon come back. Thanks Philip and Rachel!!!

We stayed here for 4 nights. The accommodations are very nice, and the hosts are welcoming and helpful. It is well situated for touring the area. If staying here, and planning to use the cooking facilities, I suggest you plan ahead and buy all your groceries on your first day. The stores in Grans are small, not reliably open (in our experience) and there is only one of each (bakery, butcher, veg), so you will (as we did) waste a lot of time driving around looking for groceries if you do not plan ahead.

Totally great place to stay for two. Well appointed accommodation - though the stairs to the mezzanine are a bit steep. Good bed (not a given!). We hardly used the indoor area - save for making some meals - eating outdoors in total peace. The impressive garden and pool provided shade and relaxation as required. Very helpful and pleasant owners - who stayed up late to welcome us - providing a few essentials to get us over the journey -- they were generally always around but were never interfering or overbearing.- just lovely people. The local village has a decent restaurant within walking distance. Difficult to recommend this too highly - of course the weather helped - but if you want a place to take it easy this would fit the bill.
