Appartement de charme au cœur piétonnier de la ville à Aix-en-Provence.

The host is very responsive, the kitchen well-stocked, and the apartment is conveniently located. I would not recommend the apartment for the stair-adverse since it is located on the second floor and is reached by two flights of somewhat narrow stairs. We enjoyed our stay.

The property advertising is misleading and inaccurate. The beautiful building shown as the property is not the actual building and the beautiful garden shown as property grounds is not in the property. The entrance to the apartment is through a small street next to the garbage dumpsters. You go through a hallway and stairs with rat and traps. There are mice traps in the apartment as well. On our third night we saw a mouse in the bathroom. There is a gravel courtyard with a drain crate before the stairs with feces inside. The sanitary conditions of the building and the apartment are unacceptable. When I informed the owner she replied she could meet us the next day at the end of the morning and that mouse might have come due to the rain. Under those conditions we could not stay. We were only visiting Aix-en-Provence for 5 days so we had to move to a hotel nearby for our remaining 2 nights. I do not like to leave a bad review but I feel it is my duty to prevent other people to have to go through what we went.

What a lovely apartment - clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed in an amazing location just off the Place de l’Hotel de Ville and the daily fruit and vegetable market in Place Richelme. Fanny and Sonia were quick to respond to questions. Good shopping all around, and lots of restaurants.

Excellent location, close to everything you might need. Despite location reasonably quiet. Fanny is very responsive and kind.

We stayed for one month. We had a wonderful stay. The host is gracious and the apartment was both clean and adequately equipped. The location, close to one of the markets (a very nice one), is excellent and very central. We felt very much at home in the apartment.

Loved the central location, the warmth and friendliness of the hosts and how well equipped with basics that the flat had! Oil, salt and pepper, toilet paper and shampoo. It just made it easier to have items to start with!

Lovely apartment in a great location. Excellent communication with the owner. It was our error, we had assumed that “parking available” meant we had a designated parking space but this is not the case. There is an underground car park very near the apartment though.

We spent eight delightful days in Fanny’s apartment, centrally located in the heart of Vielle-Ville Aix-en-Provence.The apartment is spacious and the kitchen well equipped with two burner hot plate, small fridge, microwave and kettle. We enjoyed the ability to make simple meals while at the same time enjoying some of the many restaurants in the city.The bed is comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. We especially appreciated Fanny’s excellent communication both before and during our stay- and we’re grateful for the bottle of rose awaiting us in the fridge.One note: the apartment is up several narrow flights of stairs. We are 71 & 75 and could manage, but anyone with mobility issues might have difficulty.We would happily stay here again if in Aix!
